A Bit of French Sauce!

Now for something completely different in the form of some original vintage saucy French postcards dating from the early part of the century. These postcards were probably printed around the 1910 – 1914 time and quite scarce, but they do have a certain charm to them and although mostly just topless or artistic nude were considered very risqué at the time. Not bad for postcards that are over 100 years old!

Thanks to Paul from Firebird for sending these over from his collection and as he says, very different from my normal fare but possibly a couple may be of interest to some of the site visitors. They are rather cute and I do like to mix things up on the site at times, so why not!

  1. These are very nice poses! I had a recipe book back in the 1980s with recipes for sauces alongside a nude photo dating from the 19th century. The ‘models’ were unashamedly well built and no attempt was made to hold in tummies or push shoulders back. They were also very hairy!

    • Back then there was nothing wrong with curves and tummies or the need to trim everything, models were natural in every way and form. I for one prefer a more natural woman and figure than you see today 🙂
