June Palmer & The Spiral Stairway To Heaven

A different view of June taken on a spiral stairway in a leotard by Ed Alexander in 1966. This shot appeared in the Whitestone publication No.72 ‘English Glamour Models Photographed by Ed Alexander’ and was the only appearance of June in this publication.  Interestingly I’ve seen many other shots of June in this leotard posing on a car that seem to be taken at the same time, so maybe we can now attribute them to Ed Alexander?

June in Corsica 66 (Originals)

A couple of different shots of June Palmer now, in that they are not the normal glamour shots, but a few candid holiday shots. These were taken out and about in Corsica in 1966, probably by Arthur Howell and show June looking in shops and posing in front of some Grand Gala fly posters. The poster has the dates of 11th & 12th July 1966 for the Gala, so we can assume the year is correct even if the dates aren’t accurate.

Some great shots showing a different side of June, but never fear normal service will be resumed shortly 🙂

Thanks to John for sharing these with me from his collection 🙂

Kamera Calendar Cover 1966

June on the cover of the 1966 Kamera Calendar by Harrison Marks. This seems to be a still from the Dream Goddess shoot and has a very wet clinging dress showing off June’s curves to great effect.  The rest of the calendar can be seen over on the sister site ‘The Kamera Club’ under Kamera Calendars & Specials

June Palmer – Girl Illustrated No.6

Two images of June from Girl Illustrated Vol.1 No.6 (1966) posing with long hair in the hallway and bedroom at Ewhurst Manor.

June as Carnival Centrefold 1966

June Palmer posing topless on the beach for the centrefold of Carnival Magazine (September 1966).

Thanks must go to Beutelwolf from VEF, who posted the original scan of June on VEF and then kindly sent me the full magazine.  Above is my own scan so that I could work my magic on it!
