Putting June on a Pedestal!

A young June posing in the studio perched on a stool that was restored from a very damaged colour 35mm slide. There were only two colours left from the slide blown out white and magenta, so the only thing to do was convert it to black and white. Still a great shot of June and her figure and worth sharing even if not colour.

More June as Joanna (Original)

The third shot from a set of 8 negatives I purchased of June posing in long blonde wig at Scotlee studios in the 1970’s.  This one includes both the bamboo room divider and the sheepskin rug for all you fans of them out there! Very little restoration required as the negatives were very good quality, just a slight colour tweak to cut the reds.

Down in the Dungeon with June (Original)

The fifth shot of June from the set of 8 original Harrison Marks glamour slides (Set No.60).  This negative took more restoring due to a heavy green/magenta tinge to it than the others, but it came up OK. A great shot of June standing nude in the infamous dungeon set with her hands crossed in front of her for modesty!  I recently purchased the 1963/64 Kamera Special ‘The Fabulous June Palmer’ by Harrison Marks and on the inside cover is an advert (below) for slide sets of June by GHM, including set No.60, which is described as a mixed studies set, but also dates the set.

June Palmer – Backstage Bling! (Original)

The second backstage shot of June from the set of 8 original Harrison Marks glamour slides (Set No.60), which I recently purchased. The slides themselves are excellent quality with very few blemishes on them, but unfortunately over time they have gained a magenta tinge to them. I love the pose from June in this one with her arm across her forehead and the bling on her panties and high heels, giving her a look and feel of a stripper backstage, which I assume was the idea.

June Palmer – To The Moon & Back! (Original)

A fourth image from the set of 8 original Harrison Marks glamour slides (Set No.60), which I recently won over on eBay. The slides themselves are excellent quality with very few blemishes on them, but unfortunately over time they have gained a magenta tinge to them. Thankfully the colour correction software on my scanner managed to compensate for this and restored the colours.

This shot on the spaceship set also appears on the cover of Modern Man Deluxe Quarterly, Winter 1969 (Vol.51 No.810), but the image has been reversed on the magazine, with the above shot being the correct way round. I know this because I have another slide from this set that shows the word air lock over the door this way round 🙂

I’m loving this set of slide and four more to go!

June Palmer – One For The Road! (Original)

The third shot from the set of eight original Harrison Marks Glamour slides (Set No.60) scanned and restored from one of my original negatives. This one shows June posing nude at the bar, which was a bar at Gerrard Place that was frequented by many of his models during and after work. If you’re a member of the official Harrison Marks site behind the green door you will find a whole section titled ‘Tales of the Club Bar’ which shows many images of the models posing naked at the bar, including this shot of June.

June Palmer – Just Call Me Dimples! (Original)

Another of my own scans from an original 35mm Harrison Marks slide, that I’ve tried to restore back to it’s original colour. This is the 2nd shot from the set of 8 original Harrison Marks glamour slides (Set No.60) and features June posing on the infamous Dungeon Set. A visually excellent pose by her, but look at those dimples on her bum!

June Palmer – Backstage Beauty (Original)

I’ve published other shots of June posing for Harrison Marks on the backstage set, but this is the first real quality colour shot. This shot is one of two colour shots from backstage and comes from a set of 8 original Harrison Marks glamour slides (Set No.60), which I recently won over on eBay. The slides themselves are excellent quality with very few blemishes on them, but unfortunately over time they have gained a magenta tinge to them. Thankfully the colour correction software on my scanner managed to compensate for this and restored the colours. This is also the same (cropped) shot of June that appears on the cover of Kamera No.61, so puts the shot at around 1964.

I love this new set of slides of June and will publish all 8 once I’ve scanned and restored them. I’m also really please with how this shot has restored and comes out 🙂
