June Palmer – Laying Low (Original)

Another original shot of a younger June, this time in a pose as she lies on the floor in a red open top. The quality of this original 35mm negative in a plain mount from Kevin wasn’t the best I’ve seen and very faded and rough around the edges, but hopefully restored enough for everyone to enjoy.

Putting June on a Pedestal!

A young June posing in the studio perched on a stool that was restored from a very damaged colour 35mm slide. There were only two colours left from the slide blown out white and magenta, so the only thing to do was convert it to black and white. Still a great shot of June and her figure and worth sharing even if not colour.

A Fireplace Rear View (Original)

This was my first actual negative of June that I purchased and it wasn’t the best of quality.  It was a 35mm slide from Poland, but the negative itself was very red, hence the cheap price I guess! After scanning it to the best quality I could I’ve spent ages trying to recover the colours (I bought it over 3 months ago!). I’ve converted it to black and white, then back to colour again and never been happy until now, as I got too hung up on trying to get colour out of something that wasn’t there! Anyway I decided to keep it colour and quite like the red hue to it now.

Aside from the quality of the negative the shot of June herself is a fab one. It shows a younger June posing in front of a fireplace giving us a view of her figure and bum from behind and I love the curve of her hips and the dimples on her bum. Haven’t a clue who is in the photo on the fireplace.

Now for some trivia! Ferraniacolor was a medium format reversable film produced in the mid 1950’s onwards by Ferrania s.r.l. and located in Ferrania (Liguria), Italy who were later taken over by 3M.  So maybe this shot was taken in a photographic studio and not a front room, as why have a Ferranicolour poster up?

June Palmer – Teachers Pet!

A young June posing as a teacher of sorts from Photo Studio Vol.2 No.21. I’ve never had the good fortune to have a teacher looking like June or in such attire, but I chalk it up to bad luck more than anything 😉

June on Glass – Junoesque Curves (Original)

What a view! A nude June kneeling legs apart with her back half tilted away from the camera, thus giving us a perfect view of her wonderful ass and a glimpse of boob in the same shot! An original scan from John’s collection, from his second box of glass plates of June taken in 1960. So many different lines and curves to admire in this restored shot.  This is plate No.11 from box 2 dated 20th September 1960 and taken by Leslie Bainbridge.

And yes ‘Junoesque’ is a real word!

June Palmer – A Nice Nude

Another good quality set of images of June I’d forgotten I had until now! Two shots of June posing nude on what looks to be a blanket with a windbreak or similar as a background. I have no idea who took these or where and when they were taken, but early 1960’s at a guess?

June Palmer – Sheer Sofa Delight! (Original)

Another cracking shot of June by Stefan Glass posing in the living room, this time reclining on a sofa in a stunning little sheer nightie that leaves little to the imagination! I have 4 shots of June reclining on this sofa either with this nightie on or nude, but one thing she never forgets in any of them, her cigarette! I forget how acceptable smoking was back then even in publications, but it still looks odd now.

June Palmer – Peach Perfect! (Original)

Another restored image from an original, this time from Kevin and his collection, but still a superb shot of June. Posing in the studio her figure and long dark hair contrast well with the peach background. Thanks Kevin!
