June Palmer – Nearly Outdone by Wallpaper! (Original)

Two shots of June posing at Scotlee Studio’s where the wallpaper used on the set behind her almost distracts you away from June herself, almost! The top shot of June is too damn alluring of her in those sheer panties and stockings to even get distracted by wallpaper. I included the second less alluring shot, so you can just see the colour of the wallpaper and the rug, but you may need your sunglasses!!

In her time June has posed in a lot of locations and sets, but my god there have been some garish wallpapers in the background! So in honour of those wallpapers I’ve set up another set called ‘It’s All About The Wallpaper!“, so you can see some of the designs she had to put up with. Enjoy, but again make sure you’ve taken your medication and have sunglasses ready as some of it’s a psychedelic trip!

More June as Joanna (Original)

The third shot from a set of 8 negatives I purchased of June posing in long blonde wig at Scotlee studios in the 1970’s.  This one includes both the bamboo room divider and the sheepskin rug for all you fans of them out there! Very little restoration required as the negatives were very good quality, just a slight colour tweak to cut the reds.

June Palmer – Purple Pose (Original) & 500th Post!

The purple Chaise lounge and sheepskin rug make a reappearance in this studio shot of June sent through by John. Taken in the 1970’s at Scotlee studio’s June is seen elegantly reclined on the chaise lounge, giving us a perfect view of her body with a hint of bush with the sheepskin rug spread out majestically before her! I may be wrong but this looks to be a different from this purple chaise lounge set and at least the third set I’ve seen with June posing on it.

I also just realized that this is also the 500th post dedicated to June on the site, which isn’t bad going!

June & The Bamboo Room Divider (Original)

A shot of June with longer hair taken at Scotlee Studio in the 1960’s posing with a bamboo room diver as a backdrop. This shot comes from a scan of an original negative from Kevin and the bamboo divider seen here features in several photo shoots of June in the 1960’s and 70’s including a set of negatives I have of June in long blonde wig.

June Palmer Starring The Sheepskin Rug! (Original)

The second shot from a set of 8 negatives I purchased of June posing in long blonde wig at Scotlee studios in the 1970’s.  All 8 images have June either posing on a sheepskin rug or in front of a bamboo room divider or both! Very little restoration required as the negatives were very good quality, just a slight colour tweak to cut the reds.

June as Joanna! (Original)

June posing in a long blonde wig in the 1970’s, possibly as Joanna Kent again, but probably never published as such. June posed throughout her career with long blonde wigs, but I’ve never seen her wear any of the others later on, such as the short silver wig (Candy) or shorter dark wig (Rachel Wells).

Scanned for an original negative I recently purchased and one of four of June posing in the blonde wig. Great shot and very little tweaking required. No idea where it was taken, either Strobe or Scotlee studio’s, unless someone can enlighten me? Taken at Scotlee studio as confirmed by Itsgardin, who has his own shots of June in this wig and the same background – Thanks Itsgardin

A Very Woolly Story (Original)

A very odd title for this post I know, but bare with me (pun intended!) After publishing this post  mentioning the fabled sheepskin rugs that appear in many shots from Strobe, itsgarden contacted me to give me this great little story about the said rugs.

‘As to the sheepskins, as you can imagine floor boards can be pretty hard to sit on/lie on for a couple of hours whilst posing for photographs. So when I first met June at ScotLee Studios the only complaint she ever had been the hardness of floor boards and the marks on her body they left. So being a country boy, I suggested she used sheepskin rugs to make the floor softer and to prevent marks on her from pressure points. I duly supplied 6 full-sized sheepskins to Brian Scott at Scotlee and another 6 to Arthur when I started to use Strobe Studios. She was forever grateful.’

So, there we have it, the origins of the fabled sheepskin rugs and where they came from and why they appear in so many shots! Well done Itsgardin as you are quite right, June didn’t need her delicate pressure points up against those hard floorboards, that just wouldn’t have done and thanks for the great story 🙂

Oh and the above shot of Itsgardin was used because there was some rug in the background and I love the sheer nightie showing her great tits and it was taken at the Scotlee studio’s in 1979
