June Palmer – One For The Road! (Original)

The third shot from the set of eight original Harrison Marks Glamour slides (Set No.60) scanned and restored from one of my original negatives. This one shows June posing nude at the bar, which was a bar at Gerrard Place that was frequented by many of his models during and after work. If you’re a member of the official Harrison Marks site behind the green door you will find a whole section titled ‘Tales of the Club Bar’ which shows many images of the models posing naked at the bar, including this shot of June.

June Palmer – Just Call Me Dimples! (Original)

Another of my own scans from an original 35mm Harrison Marks slide, that I’ve tried to restore back to it’s original colour. This is the 2nd shot from the set of 8 original Harrison Marks glamour slides (Set No.60) and features June posing on the infamous Dungeon Set. A visually excellent pose by her, but look at those dimples on her bum!

June Palmer – Backstage Beauty (Original)

I’ve published other shots of June posing for Harrison Marks on the backstage set, but this is the first real quality colour shot. This shot is one of two colour shots from backstage and comes from a set of 8 original Harrison Marks glamour slides (Set No.60), which I recently won over on eBay. The slides themselves are excellent quality with very few blemishes on them, but unfortunately over time they have gained a magenta tinge to them. Thankfully the colour correction software on my scanner managed to compensate for this and restored the colours. This is also the same (cropped) shot of June that appears on the cover of Kamera No.61, so puts the shot at around 1964.

I love this new set of slides of June and will publish all 8 once I’ve scanned and restored them. I’m also really please with how this shot has restored and comes out 🙂

June Palmer Studio Pose – Part 2 (Restored)

The second restored shot of June from a 35mm slide posing in the studio and again I’m not sure which I prefer? The restored colour version still has a red tinge to it and trying to restore it further just made the image washed out. I also converted the image to black and white again, which works equally well as the colour version. Still a great pose from June whatever version you prefer!

June Palmer Studio Pose (Restored)

Another restored shot of June from a 35mm slide and again I’m not sure which I prefer? The restored colour version still has a red tinge to it, but I liked it and trying to restore it further just made the image washed out. I also converted it to black and white and quite like that version as well, so torn between the two.

Anyway I’ve included both and maybe Oldiznewagain can try his hand at a colour version?

June Palmer – Never in The Red! (Original)

I’ve seen several prints similar to this of June posing with this red background, but never one as good as this, but then it comes from an original negative scan so it’s bound to be better than most. I tried to think of a catchy title for the post as the shot has June with the primary colours of blue and red, but this was the best I could come up with! Either way a wonderful studio pose of June using the blue sheet to good effect.

June by Bob Robson Restored

I must admit this isn’t one of my best restorations, as the colours were very difficult to recover and the quality of the original wasn’t that good, but a new June shot regardless. It still has a slight pink tinge to it, but much better than it was! Goes with the other shots with the same background here
