Teri Martine – It’s Not Always About Nudity (Original)

Although this site is predominantly about glamour photography from the 1950’s, 60’s and 1970’s and features lots of naked or semi naked models, it’s not always about the nudity!

I also have a growing collection of images of the same models, posing with clothes or under garments on from the same period. A good example is this shot from another original negative of mine of Teri Martine. A simple studio shot of Teri posing for the camera in an off the shoulder negligee, with not a boob or bum in sight! Well almost, as you could say you can see the curve of a boob through the sheer fabric, but that doesn’t count in this shot! Regardless it’s still a great shot of Teri back in the 1960’s, showing off the style of that period.

Margaret’s Marvellous Mound! (Coloured)

Another of my Margaret Nolan posts expertly coloured by Oldiznewagain and a favourite from the shots of her that appeared in ‘She Walks in Beauty’ shot in 1964. The original black and white version can be seen here.

A Bouffant Vera! (Original)

A very pouty Vera Novak posing topless in a very ornate chair in one of the front rooms at Ewhurst Manor. She’s also sporting a very familiar bouffant beehive hairstyle, that she had from most of her early GHM shots!

A Fully Loaded June! (Original)

One from my own collection of June Palmer negatives to leave you with before my holiday and what a cracker!

June posing in front of a window, gun in hand as the well known long black negligee slides down exposing her naked body beneath! You can just imagine her as a dangerous madame in some saloon dealing with the rowdy cowboys around her and dressed like that I’m sure she got everyone’s attention! I’ve not seen any other shots of June like this, although there are some of her with a saloon door, but don’t know if they are from the same set. A fully loaded shot of June to leave you with and see you all in 2 weeks 🙂

Janey’s Bedtime Look! (Original)

Excuse the deviation from the norm today, but I just fancied posting a few random favourite models amongst the normal posts. Another big busted favourite of mine from my early posting days was Canadian model, Janey Reynolds (Joanne Frawley). This is one of the better shots of her from the early 1970’s, but she regularly appeared in the late 60’s posing with Kim Knowles in some very dodgy wigs and beehive hairstyles, which you can see over on my Tumblr site. She looks stunning in this shot posing on the edge of the bed in stockings and her boobs don’t look as big in this shot as others, but big enough!

Vivement Les Vacances!

I’m heading off on a well earned summer holiday shortly (with no Internet access!), so there will be a two week hiatus where posts will stop, but I will return refreshed and raring to post more stuff after the 24th August. So, all enjoy your summer holiday, thanks as always for all the support of the site and I’ll see you all in a few weeks! There will be a few posts until Thursday, but then I’m gone 🙂

Sylvia McFarland Full On View! (Original)

The second of three original shots of Sylvia McFarland posing with pearls and a drink on the sofa. This is a much wider shot than the first one published, in more than one way, as we get to see a full view of Sylvia on the sofa, along with a glorious view of her thick dark bush.

The King is Dead, Long Live The King!

As some of you may have noticed and commented the official Harrison Marks website closed as of the 31st July 2015. This is a real shame as it was a site I regularly visited for reference, as well as being a member of the ‘Green Door’, but times are hard and it wasn’t cost effective to keep site running, which I can totally relate to!

Anyway, rest easy as the works of Harrison Marks, his publications, films and other memorabilia will continue to be acknowledged through ‘The Kamera Club’. So tell your friends and associates that we’re here and will continue to post and publish original work for the foreseeable future.
