Nancy Roberts – Sun Kissed on The Steps (1959)

Nancy Roberts on the steps of a building in the grounds of Sheplegh Court, Devon from a scan of a photographic glass plate. Another from the set of Nancy in the grounds of Sheplegh Court in 1959, when she was a mere 20 years old and taken by Leslie Bainbridge, editor of H&E (Health & Efficiency) magazine. A beautiful shot of a sun kissed Nancy laying on those steps in just a hat 🙂

Solo No.13 Cover – Rita Landre

The cover of Solo No.13 (1959) featuring Rita Landre, which was actually Pamela Green in one of her many pseudonyms, this time wearing a long red-headed wig to cover her normal blonde locks! She appeared as Rita on more than one occasion across Harrison Marks publications including the covers of Kamera No.1, Kamera No.19 and Kamera No.35.

Redoing some old Solo covers with better scans 🙂

Backstage in Black (1959)

The unforgettable Madeleine Mado (Maria Hale), Mary Deighan and Pamela Green posing in the dressing room from a 35mm Pamar colour slide sent over by Kevin. Although this image of the three girls was taken at the same time as the other images that appeared in Kamera backstage, this specific shot doesn’t actually appear in the publication, so maybe only ended up as a slide? I love the fact it looks like just a snapshot of them all as they undress, but I’m sure it was posed, which shows how natural all three were at posing. Pam looks great stepping out of that petticoat revealing her black underwear 🙂

Rita Landre – A Femme Fatale! (Original)

Rita Landre (Pamela Green) posing on the Parisian Alley Set by Harrison Marks. I’ve published several shots of Pam as Rita in this location here and think it is one of my favourite sets of her as Rita, who definitely comes across as a bit of a femme fatale in these shots and could almost certainly lead you down a dark path of desire!

The Fabulous Maxine (1959)

The fabulous Maxine (Elaine Ecke) posing for Harrison Marks amongst the hay from Solo No.12 P21 (1959). A whole 32 page magazine dedicated to one of GHM’s early models Maxine, she posed for him before Kamera and Solo were produced and appeared in the likes of Fiesta. Maxine had a stunning rubenesque figure, that was a pleasure to view in all its curvy glory and I see the wagon wheel makes an appearance again 🙂
