Pamela Green as Rita Landre posing in open blouse and short leather skirt from Kamera Special No.2 P51 (1958). A shot from this set of photo’s it features Rita in short (red) leather skirt, open blouse and a bejewelled cross necklace.
Jean Belvin from Kamera Special No.2 P22 (1958) and her second and last appearance in said publication and a beautiful off the shoulder shot of her. I only have a few shots of Jean, all of which can be seen here
A very nude, but elegant looking Ann Austin from P64 of Kamera Special No.2 (1958). Stunning looks and curves as always with a bit of fur thrown in for good measure!
A very made-up Jean Spaul (Sporle) from Kamera Special No.2 P27 (1958). Jean with her hair pulled back and big dangly earrings, again with striking make-up, what I can’t make my mind up about though, is if she was ‘blacked up’ in this shot? Similar to Pamela Green as Princess Sonmar Harriks I’ve seen shots in Kamera of Jean ‘blacked up’ from head to foot, but can’t quite decide if this is one of those shots, or just her make-up and lighting?
Jennifer Garland from the Kamera Special No.2 P17 (1958). This is how the shot appeared in the magazine, but I’m not too sure if it should be horizontal, as she seems to be laying on her back amongst the sheepskin rugs. Actually when I turned it horizontally, it actually looks better this way. Whatever orientation you can beat a bit of Jennifer in black negligee showing off her ample bosom!
I published an image of this model last week from Kamera No.7 (1958)
, where she appears twice on a Tiger skin rug. After that post Jeff mailed me with a possible identification of her, as Gloria Conlan, but I’m still not 100% convinced? I actually published a set of photo’s of Gloria Conlan by Harrison Marks that appeared in the Fiesta Spring Special 1957 (Pages 46-49)
, so the timeline works. She also appears in the above shot from Kamera Special No.2 (1958).
Is it Gloria, what do you think?
Maria Hale sat posing on a sheepskin rug in front of the TV in Harrison Marks flat from Kamera Special No.2 (1958). Who cares what’s on TV when you have a view like that in front of you!
A beautiful shot of the classic beauty June Russell from Kamera Special No.2 (1958). Shots from this set of June are dispersed amongst the early editions of Kamera and all are equally as good as this shot.
Jennifer Garland in long dark wig posing nude under an umbrella from Kamera Special No.2 (1958). A very sophisticated view of Jennifer posing with the umbrella!
One of the few appearances of June Wilkinson in Kamera, this one being the only shot of her to appear in Kamera Special No.2 (1958). June also appeared in Kamera No.5 (1 shot) and No.8 (1 shot) along with several shots of her appearing in one of GHM’s other publications ‘In Focus’. They may be scarce but still a worth addition to the GHM portfolio.
