One of my many original shots of Dawn Grayson and not all are of her naked 🙂 This is a stunning 35mm colour negative of her with her long flowing auburn hair is a stunning portrait shot and I’m sure she must have done as many non nude glamour shoots as she did nude, we just remember her more with her clothes off!
Another delightful shot from this set of Dawn Grayson from a scan of an original set of negatives of her posing in the doorway with her slip falling down. A very sultry look from Dawn as her hair falls across one side of her face and I just love those button nipples of hers 🙂
I published a cropped colour version of this shot here, but I also like the fuller version and it works very well when also converted to black and white. A beautiful shot of Dawn Grayson in sheer open top dropping off the shoulders and a pair of high heels. But I also love the pigtails in her hair and the overall look of the shot be it colour or black and white 🙂
I love it when I come across a set of photos in my collection and realize they feature two of my favourite 1960’s models! I’ve been working through a huge collection of contact sheets and original prints I’ve bought over the last few months and there sitting amongst them was a set of shots of Dawn Grayson and Gloria Lomax together. How did I miss that! Anyway it’s a set of 12 shots of Gloria and Dawn posing on a black set in various poses with a plant stand and flowers between them. You can just see it behind them in this shot. Both girls are in all shots and look fabulous as they strike different poses.
As I’ve mentioned before Gloria and Dawn were friends and traveled together for assignments. I’ve published a few of them working together before here, but it’s a nice surprise to find I have an original set of them hiding in my collection. No idea if these ended up being published or who took the shots, but what a dynamic duo 🙂
A new shot from my own collection of the dazzling Dawn Grayson. This time from a different set of photos of her posing in and around an office in various stages of undress, including this shot of her kneeling on the desk looking very studious in a beautiful white slip. I can’t think of anything better on an afternoon at 2:20 than having Dawn kneel on my desk in just her slip! Well maybe without the slip 😉
A stunning if different shot of Dawn in the office.
An interesting article from the pages of Mayfair Vol.2 No.1 (January 1964) about several well known models making a film for Mayfair. The models in question were Dawn Grayson, Geraldine (Gerry) Brown, Lee Southern, Diane (McNeil) Grant and Pauline Dickenson. All of which apart from Pauline are well known on this blog, especially my favourite in the pink tights, Dawn Grayson.
Now I’m not sure if a film was really made or this was just a set up for the article, but I do know Mayfair did make several super 8mm films later on featuring Syliva Bayo, Mandy Kuypers and Penny Mallett. So maybe they did make the film, but I’m sure I wouldn’t have missed such a film featuring Dawn and friends? Anyone know if it really exists?
Dawn Grayson on the December page of the 1965 Kamera Calendar by Harrison Marks. I’d forgotten I had a copy of this calendar in my collection, so though it was time to revisit a few pages and as it’s December what better place to start! Dawn looks great in colour and is posing on the Cinderella set in her rags costume flashing one perky tit.
Does it get any better on the run up to Christmas than a nude Dawn Grayson underneath the Christmas tree! By Harrison Marks and originally published in the Kamera Winter Special P7 (1967) this is a scan from the original negative, although I do own a copy of the special itself. I think Dawn looks at her superb best in this special and a very similar shot to this appeared on Kamera Calendar 1968 January page.
I also think the Winter Special has to be one of my favourite Kamera specials, but with lots of fabulous winter nudes. Unfortunately I roll a new batch out every Christmas and there are only a few good shots left I haven’t published. Maybe time to revisit a few of the classic favourites once I’ve exhausted my collection. It’s also a shame GHM never decide to do another Winter Special as I’m sure it would have been as popular as all the other specials.
