Kamera No.27 Cover (1959)

One of my favourite early Kamera covers featuring Pamela Green and Jean Spaul (Sporle) posing in the living room of GHM’s flat. Not much more you need to say about it really, other than it’s a classic cover and even today has an elegance and style about it that can’t be replicated.

Kay Fitzsimmonds – In Bed With Ted! (1960)

Kay Fitzsimmonds sharing a familiar bed with a large stuffed bear! I didn’t notice the bear in the shot until I started editing it, but then who would be looking for it when Kay is centre of attention. A great shot of Kay from Kamera No.27 P25 (1960) posing on a well used bed with familiar striped bedding, so either GHM only had one set of bedding or the bed was only used occasion for shots like this.

June & The Wheel, Part 3 (1959)

The third and final shot of June from Kamera No.27 P24 (1959) as she poses on the loft set with the wagon wheel just visible in this shot. All images of June that appear in Kamera No.27 can be seen here.

June & The Wheel, Part 2

The second shot of June Palmer posing with a wheel by Harrison Marks that were published in Kamera No.27 (1959). Unfortunately the shots have been retouched for censorship reasons back then, but the way June poses it probably didn’t need much retouching. If the date of Publication is correct then this would put June at 19 when she had these shots taken.

As they appear in Kamera I’ve published them on this site, but they will also appear on Kamera Club for completeness.

June Palmer & The Wheel (1959)

Two shots of June Palmer posing with a wheel by Harrison Marks that were published in Kamera No.27 (1959). Unfortunately the shots have been retouched for censorship reasons back then, but the way June poses it probably didn’t need much retouching. If the date of Publication is correct then this would put June at 19 when she had these shots taken.
As they appear in Kamera I’ve published them on this site, but they will also appear on Just June for completeness.

June & The Wheel (1960)

A 20 year old June posing in Kamera No.27 (1960) for Harrison Marks. This time posing on the loft set, but again with a wheel in the background and a very similar shot to the one that appeared in Kamera No.23, not sure what that was all about! unfortunately the shot has been retouched for censorship reasons back then, but the way June poses it probably didn’t need much retouching.
