It’s a Good Life, Margo! (Original)

Sometimes when you see an image you just have to post it and this is one of those shots! This wonderfully posed shot of Cindy Neal popped into my inbox last night from Terry and I love it and the little story attached, which will make the title of this post clearer šŸ™‚
One of Terry’s original transparencies, he worked with Cindy several times and also used her flat as a location. It was situated off Regents Park and decorated in a slightly Eastern style, which was useful as it was just up the road from Terry’s studio in Great Portland Street. Another bit of useless information, her real name was Margo, but Terry never did find out about her surname.
So there you go Cindy was a Margo, which makes me laugh as I always associate the name Margo with Penelope Keith from the TV series ‘The Good Life’, hence the subtle title to the post! Enjoy the shot of Cindy/Margo and thanks Terry for a fantastic little shot.

June Palmer – A Touch of The Orient! (Original)

Well I’ve not seen this shot or any similar shots of June dressed as a geisha or similar oriental lady, but what a stunning shot it is of her! The figure, the boobs Ā and the make-up all make this shot a wonder to behold and thanks to Kevin for sharing, as he isĀ selling this large format negative ( 2 inches by 2 inches) over on eBay and kindly sent me a copy beforehand. No idea who took the shot, but could be a rare Harrison Marks shot, but really don’t have any more details, so will just sit back and enjoy the view!

Don’t Push The Boat Out June! (Original)

Shot number three from the set of June messing about on the water with a yellow dingyĀ in just some black bikini bottoms. Taken by Arthur Howell at some holiday location, hopefully not the UK as that could have been a bit nippy!

June Palmer – Hotel Tease! (Original)

Probably not a real hotel room, as I’ve never seen curtains that plush like that in any hotel I’ve ever been in. Plus I’m sure I’ve seen that oriental cabinet before too. Thanks to John for sharing one of his original negatives of June.

Elaine Desmond – River Dance! (1966)

A shot of Elaine Desmond down by the river taken by Harrison Marks and sent through by Kevin from one of his original negatives. Location wise I’m still not sure this is Ewhurst, but rather a location down in Cornwall, as I’ve seen similar shots at this dam used in Kamera on Location 66 with Gill Evans.
