Sissi Mississippi posing in the bath by Harrison Marks from a scan of an original negative.
Sissi, an Italian striptease artiste arrived in London in May 1968 and the only photos of her that made it into Kamera were in an advert that appears on the inside back page of issue No.88. However, Harrison Marks did four still shoots with her which were featured in the final edition of Solo, No.61.
GHM also made three 8mm glamour films with Sissi, the first an offbeat production called ‘The Lash’ (No.E22) filmed on a variation of the Pattern of Evil dungeon set and co-starring Danielle Denese (credited on the film box as Dania Danelle) as a fellow prisoner in a girl fight sequence over a crust of bread. The other two films star Sissi alone, one entitled simply ‘Sissi Mississippi’ (No.E23) in which she does her striptease routine, and the other, No.E26, ‘Bubbles & Beauty’, which was filmed in the bathroom and with Sissi in the bath at HM’s flat and the above shot is obviously a still from that production.
A fabulous bubbly shot of Sissi in the bath and even all those bubbles couldn’t hide her dark thick luscious bush!
Sissi Mississippi by Harrison Marks posing with plenty of rug on show from a scan of an original negative! Sissi was a very natural European model that refused to get rid of her beautiful thick bush, even for Harrison Marks. Despite using both hands in this shot, she still can’t hide the fact she had one hell of a big bush, not that I’m complaining! I’ve also published a similar shot of Sissi from the same set, but closer, here.
And the final letter for the 2015 Christmas Calendar goes to Sissi Mississippi and an original shot from one of my own negatives. Sissi looks stunning in this pose, especially her hair and dark eye-liner around her eyes, and that’s even before we look at her body! Although the shadow from her thumb does make the shape of her pubic hair look rather odd!
Well that’s it for this years Christmas calendar and I hope it’s kept you entertained on the run up to the festivities? All that’s left is to again wish everyone a Merry Christmas and that things will slow down after today as I take a break and enjoy the holidays myself, there may be some more posts, but not as regularly as normal. Normal service will resume in the New Year.
I seem to have more uncensored shots of Sissi Mississippi than not. This may have something to do with the Italian striptease artist coming along later in Harrison Marks career and only arrived in London in 1968 as the last edition of Kamera was being published. Sissi had a magnificent pussy and being European was reluctant to shave it off, which I’m glad to see. Apparently she was to appear on the cover and inside of Kamera No.90, but that never happened as 90 never got to the publishers, shame! This shot comes from Nature’s Intention Vol.1 No.2 (1969), one of two publications to feature the models of GHM in all their uncensored glory and almost all sporting some cracking bushes!
Sissi Mississippi posing in GHM’s flat with yet another of his cats making an appearance in the shot!
Sissi Mississippi from Nature’s Intention Vol.1 No.2 (1969) and a wonderful pose holding a teddy bear. I love the pouting expression on Sissi’s face in this shot and I’m not quite sure who is sporting the most fur, Sissi and her magnificent bush or the bear!
After publishing the cover to Nature’s Intention Vol.1 No.2 featuring Monique Devereux I now have a scanned copy of the cover of No.1. This cover features Sissi Mississippi and is it me or every image I’ve seen her boobs seem to be pointing out at odd angles?
Thanks to John W for sending me a scan and is there any magazine he hasn’t got! John also points out that he doesn’t think there were more than two issues, as 25 bob was a lot of money in 1969 and they probably didn’t sell that many copies to go past two.
Not sure of the two who had the biggest natural bush, either way it must have been an editing nightmare back then to hide it all for the censors!
Here we have Neva posing on the ‘Lantern Cottage’ set letting her hair down and showing it all and Sissi Mississippi at one with nature in the grounds of Ewhurst Manor.
Sissi on the other hand was always au natural and as a strip artist from Italy always refused to get rid of her magnificent bush (rightly so!). This was more common with continental models, where showing such plumage was more accepted.
Both images were published by Harrison Marks in Nature’s Intention Vol.1 No.1 ‘A Series of Natural Art Studies’ in 1969. For me I think Sissi edges it on sheer mass, but both look magnificent!
Thanks to Madmax for identifying the top model as Neva and not Velma Loftus!
