Lan Fah Lee – A Taste of The Orient! (1958)

Oriental model Lan Fah Lee by Harrison Marks, taken circa 1958. She appears sporadically through early Kamera editions and once in Kamera Special No.2 (1958). Up until now I didn’t have a name, but I came across her in a glamour film advertised in the ‘Venus Glamour Film Magazine’ by Russell Gay. It was film No.11 with the title of ‘China Tease’ featuring Lan Fah Lee as the mandarin’s wife being bathed by her maid Pamela Hing. The film seems to have been filmed at Ewhurst and I posted some images of Lan Fah here by Russell Gay here, which seem to be at Ewhurst and possibly from the film as well? I’m not sure that is her real name, but nevertheless it’s a name to another unknown model on my list.

Thanks to Kevin for this wonderful print of Lan Fah and her stunning body 🙂

Gloria Conlan – Hello Tiger! (1958)

Gloria Conlan posing astride a Tiger headed rug from Kamera No.7 P4 (1958) and sorry I can’t resist a good double entendre when I see one, but god that’s a big pussy between her legs! 🙂 Now that’s out the way I do wonder if Harrison Marks also did this shot with that very joke in mind, one does wonder? Jokes aside Gloria has a great figure and this is the last of two images of Gloria that appear in Kamera No.7.

From The Orient to Ewhurst with Love!

Three shots of an unknown Oriental model from the pages of Model No.14 by Russell Gay, but she also modelled for Harrison Marks and appeared in Kamera Special No.2. These shots were taken around the grounds of Ewhurst Manor, as the first is outside the well known cottage door, the second down by the pond out the front of the property, with the final shot taken on the side patio with the trellis in the background.  I’ve no idea who the model is and I’ve only seen her appear in the two magazines mentioned, but she’s down as unknown model No.23 on the ‘Unknown Models’ page.

Could It Be Gloria? (1958)

I published an image of this model last week from Kamera No.7 (1958), where she appears twice on a Tiger skin rug. After that post Jeff mailed me with a possible identification of her, as Gloria Conlan, but I’m still not 100% convinced? I actually published a set of photo’s of Gloria Conlan by Harrison Marks that appeared in the Fiesta Spring Special 1957 (Pages 46-49), so the timeline works.  She also appears in the above shot from Kamera Special No.2 (1958).
Is it Gloria, what do you think?

Face It, Tiger… You Just Hit The Jackpot!! (1958)

An appropriate title to this image of an unknown model photographed by Harrison Marks for Kamera No.7 (1958). The tiger skin rug seems to be a prominent feature throughout this early edition of Kamera, not that it really distracts from the key focus on the image.
For those geeks amongst us the title is a reference back to The Amazing Spider-Man No.42 (November 1966) and the introduction of Mary Jane Watson (MJ) who makes her first appearance in this comic and utters these words to Peter Parker/Spider-man when they first meet. It has become something of a catchphrase for the character.
Another small piece of trivia about me, is that I also used to collect comic books from the early 1960’s onwards, including Spider-man. My collection exceeds over 6000 different comics and titles and if sold could buy the wife a new kitchen, but don’t tell her that!
