Esquire Desire! (Original)

A beautiful unknown blonde from a restored set of Esquire 35mm colour slides in my collection. I’m always amazed how these slides restore after over 50 years, as they always seem to look so red.

Thanks to Tonal Range for identifying the model as Burlesque and Spick & Span model Adrienne Germaine 🙂

Hey Banana Again! (Original)

An unknown (blonde) model from the 1960’s seductively eating a banana from a set of images from a contact sheets sent over by Kevin. She looks to be wearing a wig and I have one other small set of her also as a blonde, but with shorter hair.

Apologies for the re-post, but issues with the members gallery I need to fix, so the rest of the images from this set will be back later.

1950’s Carnival Cheesecake!

A stunning vintage beauty from the Carnival Annual P22 (1956) and shot by West End Photo’s, but model and photographer unknown. I just love the classic 1950’s hairstyle combined with the red lipstick, fishnet stockings and low cut bra giving us just a hint of nipple. A classic vintage glamour or cheesecake beauty, although I think the red lipstick has been ever so slightly enhanced in this shot.

The term cheesecake seems to have derived from a genre of glamour photography and poster art made popular in wartime pin-ups of the 1940’s, often featuring modest poses by movie starlets displaying lots of leg but little explicit nudity. So called because of the resemblance of a stocking-clad female thigh to the layers of a cheesecake dessert. I think this shot fits that genre perfectly.

Incidentally, this was the first ever magazine I physically purchased and scanned 🙂

An Unknown Voluptuous Vision (Original)

Another stunning shot of this unknown ebony model by Harrison Marks posing in the studio. What a fabulous voluptuous curvy figure she has as she kneels with arms up for the camera ?

The first image I posted here actually appeared in Kamera No. 47 P10 (1962) and is one of my missing editions, so no idea if this shot also appeared?

Thanks to MadMax who has confirmed that this image also appeared in Kamera No.47 on P42.
