Virginia Green – QT No.29 Cover

The vivacious Virginia Green on the cover of QT No.29 by Russell Gay. A rather good shot of Virginia with a very well placed bow on the umbrella handle! Gay tended to be more colourful and garish with his magazine covers than Harrison Marks, with much more going on in them and the accompanying centrefolds. The centrefold from this edition also features Virginia posing on a western set in a cowgirl outfit, which I posted back in 2013 here.

Virginia Green – When All You Need Is Earrings! (1950’s)

She me be naked or topless, but Virginia Green has a cracking pair of earrings on, so that makes everything OK 🙂 and to be honest it works! Back in the 1950’s and 60’s the models just seemed to look that bit more elegant or classy as they posed naked with their gloves or jewels on than they do today.

I love this shot of Virginia, as it looks as though she’s been out for the evening and then just stripped off leaving her hair up and earrings in place, and why not 🙂

Virginia Green – Devils View! (Original)

Another shot of Virginia Green amongst the props by Harrison Marks, similar to this shot from the same shoot. This one gives us a much clearer view of her body and we are all looking the same place as the devils head! Another original scan of a negative from Kevin and a great one of Virginia that leaves little to the imagination!

The cropped and censored version of this shot was published in Solo No.15 P3 (1960)

Virginia’s Bedroom Appeal!

Two restored shots of Virginia Green from silver gelatin photographs of her posing on the bed in an open negligee. Virginia is one of those models with such a great curvy figure on display and the top shot shows her figure off perfectly, even the slight roundness of her tummy as she leans forward. What I would class as a real figure 🙂

Virginia Green Amongst The Props! (Original)

An unusual shot from an original negative of Virginia Green by Harrison Marks. This has Virginia posing amongst some very familiar props that have appeared numerous times in other shots by GHM. The more important question about this shot is, who’s hand is that in the top right of the shot? Obviously helping with the lighting it’s a female hand with well manicured nails, so possibly Pamela Green helping out?

Not the most obvious shot to buy or post, but I loved it for the fact it has Virginia Green all smooth and uncensored, all the different props in it I can identify and of course the hand! Finally I’m not sure what that is that Virginia Green is barely wearing, but was it worth it?

The cropped version of this shot of Virginia appears in Solo No.15 P27 (1960)

Virginia Green – Bamboo & Big Areola! (Original)

An original image of a young Virginia Green posing nude before she became a redhead, although I’ve seen shots of her blonde as well!

This scan came from the Kevin archives, but as he said the negative itself was very poor and grainy, so recovered the best I could! A couple of notable points, well one actually, the other is just the dodgy bamboo wallpaper in the background that detracts from the other notable point, Virginia’s boob and how big the areola looks in this shot.  I know she has big areola in other shots, but in this one it seems to cover a much larger area of her bob than normal, not that I’m an expert! Unless you count staring at numerous different sets of boobs each day as being an expert!
