A simply stunning shot of Pamela Green by Harrison Marks from his hardback book 'Pamela A Portrait In 58 Studies'.  Another recent acquisition for my collection and a superb book full of wonderful Pam images.

A Surreal Surrounding For Lorraine Burnett

Lorraine Burnett from a set of photographs that appear in the pages of Karama No.1.  Lorraine appears in this set totally nude posing forwards and from behind, but  what intrigues me more is the surreal background.  From what I can tell it seems to be square sheets of tin foil with a smaller squared pattern randomly stuck to the wall behind her!  Very surreal and distracting, but not that distracting from the main subject :)

Patsy French From New Kamera No.1

A very nice shot of Patsy French from New Kamera No.1 (1969), Harrison Marks attempt at revealing Kamera in the late 1960's and 70's.  Edition No.1 was late 1969 by which time censorship laws were loosening and pubic hair was becoming more acceptable in shots, as shown above. Patsy is another model that posed for GHM in the later part of the 60's, but this is the first published image I've seen of her from him.

Simply Sophia

Ed Alexander Photographs English Beauties

My latest purchase arrived this afternoon and one that I've been after for a while, but unfortunately it's been going for silly prices on eBay, so I've always missed out.  By accident I found a copy for sale on Amazon yesterday at a very reasonable price, so despite my reservations I bought it, but for that price it had to be a very poor copy surely?  It arrived today, the day after I ordered it, it was very well securely sealed, then wrapped in brown paper and had a wonderful set of stamps attached (several Channel Tunnel ones if your interested).

Well to my surprise it's a very good condition copy of the magazine, clean crisp pages, no discolouration and for a magazine 50 years old immaculate! So well played to the seller on Amazon for such a good buying experience, if only all sellers showed such commitment. 

Anyway onto the magazine! As the title says it's full of English beauties photographed by Ed Alexander, including none other than Dawn Grayson on the cover (one of the reasons I wanted it!).  Published by Whitestone Publications in 1964 it's a 112 page extravaganza of well known models, both clothed and nude, including Eve Eden, Sophia Dawn, Annette Johnson, Molly Peters and of course Dawn. The strange thing is apart from Annette Johnson, they are all using different or uncommon names, like Sophie Dorn, Kay Stern and Connie Fielding. A wonderful magazine and insight into glamour photography and lots of location shots inside and outside at Ewhurst Manor.

I'm off to scan a few pages to share with you all, then putting it up on eBay for an extortionate selling price (joking, it's one of the few I may keep)

Connie Fielding in White Panties

Sometimes the simplest of shots hits the right spot and this is one of those shots! A simple shot of Connie Fielding from behind in white panties, her reflection from the front in a mirror blurred.

Taken by Ed Alexander in 1964, Connie is actually better know as Eve Eden.  

Originally known as Rosa Dolmai (Domaille), this dark haired British bombshell shot to fame in the late 1950's. After a scandal involving bondage photos, Rosa disappeared to be replaced by a blonde Eve Eden. The blond phase lasted for about 2 years through to 1962. By 1963 she had returned to her original dark hair but in a shorter style than the 50's using the name Connie Fielding. She shortly continued as Eve Eden and made scores of appearances in dozens of magazine titles throughout the 60's including front covers of Debonair, Escapade & True Adventures to name a few.

Jayne Tracey Hanging Around!

Jayne Tracey perched in a tree from the pages of Glamorous Girls No.2. An obvious reprint of a GHM shot from Kamera or Solo taken in the grounds of Ewhurst Manor.  How do I know this, well from the style and shape of the tree I can tell it was the third tree on the right from the driveway, to the left of the pond outside the front of Ewhurst (Joking!).  It just looks like it could be there and is in keeping with shots of Jayne at that time from Ewhurst :)

A Dark Haired Cleo Simmons

Cleo Simmons doing a bit of table top posing with long dark hair from Sexy Girl No.5.  I can't decide if I prefer her blonde or with dark hair like this and I assume this is a wig and blonde was her natural colour.

Sue Owen - Pussy Teasing!

A shot of dark haired Sue Owen from the back page of Glamorous Girls No.2 (Mid 1960's) teasing a couple of cats in Harrison Marks flat. This is a digest size, 58 page magazine featuring 16 full colour plates and numerous black and white shots from GHM.  Models range from early Marie Deveraux through to Vivienne Warren and I would guess they are reprints from Kamera etc.

A Cave Full of Riches From Revue No.65

The centre pages from Nouvelle Serie De Revue No.65 featuring a cave full of rich beauties in all their glory! From left to right we have a shaved unknown model, followed by Julie Jordan and finally the curvaceous full bushed Audrey Judson (Kim Courtney). Obviously an Harrison Marks reprint, but from where I do not know, but potentially a still from the Harrison Marks feature film 'The Naked World of Harrison Marks' or 'The Nine Ages of Nakedness'?

Eve Eden - Highway to Heaven!

A more familiar pose from Eve Eden than the last few I published. This time a much more mainstream pose of her on the driveway of Ewhurst Manor posing in long open negligee exposing those lovely boobs! So much more respectable, but which do I prefer? :)

Tina Graham on The Doorstep in 3D

It's been ages since I posted a 3D image, so to rectify that here is one of the lovely Tina Graham (Christine Carter).  This one shows off the lovely figure of Tina sat on the doorstep of the cottage at Ewhurst Manor with those long legs and tits popping out at you in glorious 3D!

Kamera Backstage - Act VI Three Stunning Blondes

I finally have a copy of Kamera Backstage thanks to Yak over on the official Pamela Green site who sent me a copy. I love this 64 page special produced by Harrison Marks in 1959 and this image is a fine example of why I love it so much! 

The stunning figures of Pamela Green, Mary Deighan and Madeleine Mado, better known as Maria Hale without the long blonde wig.  All tastefully posed and lit in the wings or side stage.

Margaret Nolan from ELF Magazine

A young Margaret Nolan posing nude from the pages of ELF Magazine (early 1960's). It also looks like she is wearing a long blonde wig to me and is consistent with some of her other early appearances in Amber and QT.

Beautiful Nude From Photographic Rhythm No.1

But who is she?  This one is driving me mad (easily done!) as I know the face and body, but the name escapes me, so can someone name her please?  She appears throughout 'Photographic Rhythm' magazine No.1 by Lawrence Venn (late 1950's) and a stunning beauty, just need a name?

An Early Blonde Pamela Green

A very early blonde Pamela Green taken by Harrison Marks from the 1950's. Looking at the second smaller shot I would say this was probably a blonde wig rather than the dyed blonde hair she became so familiar with later in her career.

Lorraine Burnett - Square Magazine Cover

Lorraine Burnett in a long blonde wig with purple panties and pink gloves on the cover of Square Magazine (1960).  This was a collection of photo's by Roger Davis published by Rosalinda and includes images of Lorraine and other models, but several images of Ann Austin, some of which I've never seen before!

Dawn Grayson Figure Quarterly Cover

About time I had some more of my favourite redhead!  This time gracing the cover of Figure Quarterly Vol.45 (Spring 1966) a beautifully bound full size magazine, with this edition featuring UK photographer Ken Williams, who snapped many of the same models as GHM, including Dawn.

June Simpson by Lawrence Venn

The distinguishable June Simpson posing on leopard skin rug for Lawrence Venn. This was taken from the pages of Photographic Rhythm No.1 (1950's) by Lawrence Venn and featured models such as Eve Eden and others that I recognise but can't name yet.

The magazine itself is a 34 page medium format (9 x 7 inches) publication featuring full page black and white nudes, with a back page of photographic technical data to make it all seem legit.

Note: This image may look edited as though it's be cut out and pasted onto the background, this wasn't done by me (I'm not that clever!) but part of the original publication!

Rosa Domaille - Just For Kinks!

Before Eve Eden (Rosa Domaille) became a main stream model in the mid to late 1960's she also had a kinkier side.  At that time she posed for different and stronger images than usual, including bondage and full open leg shots! The bottom shot above is from one of the bondage sessions, which sees her bound and gagged to that table, legs apart showing all.  The images are out there, but not good quality, but I prefer the one above as it gives you a prelude of more to come.

The top shot just appeals to me, the knickers half down and pulling the bra up just make you imagine she's about to do something naughty!  I suppose every model must have had some skeletons in the cupboard, be it home-made movies or early riskier shots before they became better known and I think these were Eve Eden's!

A restore 35mm slide of Monique Devereux posing nude for Harrison Marks in the late 1960's.  Very odd setting with the colourful sheets, a coat of arms and an old fashioned phone, plus the obligatory rug!  MD still looks like she's sucking her stomach in for this shot!

Anna From Stripper No.1

Anna Verdi doing a seaside strip in the dunes from the pages of Stripper No.1 (Mid 1960's).  Pages 3 and 7 are my personal favourites, not a busty girl but nice nipples!

Sally Dixon - Girl Illustrated No.43

What must be my favourite shot of Sally Dixon from her appearances in Girl Illustrated.  This one is from Girl Illustrated Vol.4 No.43 (1969) and she has such a lovely smile to add to everything else!

Just Jill!

Jill from Kamera No.87 (1968) posing in front of a familiar mirror in the bathroom.  No full name and I only know her first name was Jill as the back cover of the same magazine it advertises a postcard set of her under the name Jill.  That's not to say that's her real or normal modelling name, as we know GHM liked to use his own names for models!  Anyone know the full name of this fine figure of a woman?

Rita Landre - Beach Babe! (Original)

An original of Pamela Green in an early shot of her as Rita Landre taken in 1954 by Harrison Marks. The red wig was purchased from wig creations and taken on location to St. Mary's on the Scilly Isles in September of 1954. Pam wore the wig for the first time on the isles, which then later became synonymous with her Rita alter ego!

Terry Graham - Front & Rear!

A lovely front and rear view of Terry Graham in Stockings from the pages of men's magazine Storm No.2. I'm not 100% sure, but that looks like the images may well have been taken at Ewhurst Manor as well.

Marie Deveraux in Pigtails!

Marie Deveraux sitting nude on a lone wicker chair sporting nothing more than a wistful look and pigtails! Taken by GHM and printed originally in Kamera and then re-printed in 'Just Marie Deveraux'. The pigtails are part of a wig if you hadn't gussed, but wonderfully posed shot regardless.

A Multi Coloured Sue Chester

Sue Chester on a tri-coloured page of Nouvelle Serie De Revue No.65.  sue posed for Harrison Marks and appeared on the cover of Kamera No.71 and within Kamera No.76, her other appearance was in Femme No.11 and she posed for GHM during the mid 1960's.
