Susan Rivers By Harrison Marks (1956)

An early shot of Susan Rivers by Harrison Marks from the 1956 Carnival Annual. The same image along with another of Susan (below) also appear in the October edition of Fiesta from the same year. It seems that this image as well as the one below incorrectly name the model as Eva Wilde Pamela Green, which it most definitely isn't! Although some shots of Pamela at the time have her with a similar short red hairstyle, they are different models and one of Pamela with this hairstyle also appears in the same Carnival Annual.

Maxine Ellis by Harrison Marks

One of the two colour centrefold shots of Maxine Ellis (Elaine Ecke) by Harrison Marks from Kamera No.28 (1960). A beautiful shot of her in open negligee exposing those perfectly round big boobs!

Pamela Green - Amazonian Beauty (Original)

Pamela Green with short dark hair looking more tanned than usual or slightly 'blacked up' for this shot. Taken from an original Harrison Marks silver gelatin photo this set features Pam nude with hooped earrings and posing with what looks like a glass orb or ball. Although this shot itself didn't appear, others from the same set were published in the hardback book 'Pamela - A Portrait in 58 Studies' by Harrison Marks in 1955.

Ann Austin - A Lovely Pair of Plumped Pillows on The Sofa

Diane Hedges or Is It Diane Clare?

A wonderful shot of Diane Hedges from Square Magazine by Roger Davis laying on the floor showing off her maple bosom! The shot is actually aligned this way in the magazine and does seem to work better this way up. The official GHM website states that Diane Hedges is Diane Clare, but with short hair although I'm not convinced as all the shots of DC she has a beauty spot, but I've been wrong before.

As Diane Hedges she only appeared for GHM in Kamera No.8 (Cover), the original first issue of Femme and one shot in Kamera Special No.1

Sue Owen - Kamera Calendar, December 1966

The final month of the 1966 Kamera Calendar and again starring the dark haired Sue Owen, this time posing in the living room of GHM's flat against the bookcase. That complete's another Kamera Calendar, so onto the next one ... 

Hazel Taylor & The Fishnet Leotard!

Another two shots of Hazel Taylor (Ann Dixon) from Pussy Cat No.2. This time posing in a very see through fishnet leotard with a nice little bow around the waist! She obviously liked the fishnet top look as she wore a similar top here

Vera Novak - The Bed & The Beehive

I've not really published that much of Vera Novak to date, but I don't really know why? This shot is typical of the 1960's modelling style, including the wonderful beehive hairstyle! Vera had a great figure, not as curvy as some others or as busty, but still a pleasure to view.

Margaret Nolan - Just the Panties To Go!

A fireside shot of Margaret Nolan posing with just her panties to go before she's naked! I don't know much about this shot other than it was probably taken by Russell Gay for either QT, Amber or Model as she always seemed to wear very dodgy blonde wigs for those shoots! Great shot apart from the wig and the decore is very late 1960's, early 70's, with a nice old fashioned phone in the background.

Avra Bennett from the pages of Kamera No.37 (1961) where she also appeared on the cover and colour centre pages on the bedroom set, including various poses in a tin bath!

Marie Deveraux - Another That Slipped Past The Censors Net!

A shot of Marie Deveraux on the Fisherman Set by Harrison Marks that may have inadvertently slipped past the eye of the censor. The use of the rope highlighting the 'V' of her pubic region and showing a glimpse of her shaven labia. Very risqué!

Pamela, The Pose & The Rose

An early shot of Pamela Green by Harrison Marks from a set where she is seen in various nude poses with a rose. A rare early shot of her where she had pubic hair that can be clearly seen in this shot and the collars and cuffs match! Taken in the late 1950's and restored from a scan of a silver gelatin photograph.

Lorraine Burnett - Black Panties, Stockings & Garters (Coloured)

Another Lorraine Burnett image and another great coloured version from Oldiznewagain.  it seems that Lorraine shots tend to lend themselves to being coloured as the last coloured shot was very good as well.

Paula Page - Always Gives Good Wood!

About time I published some more Paula Page, so I thought I'd post this fantastic shot of her and those huge tits of hers straddling a rather large piece of wood! Watch those splinters in delicate places!

Dawn Grayson - Dawn of Man

Dawn Grayson from the pages of Carnival Magazine (September 1969) with longer hair than normal seen. I don't know the location, but Dawn looks good posing outdoors wherever it is! Thanks to Beutelwolf from VEF for scanning and sharing this article.

Velma Loftus - All The Way From South Africa?

A great shot of Velma Loftus and her glorious bush from 1969. Unknown publication but the bottom right gives the date and that it came from Tudor House publications and god knows what the reference to South Africa is, maybe girls of the world?

An Early Rita Landre?

I spotted this shot over on the tumblr of Honey-Rider (I love that name!) and I'm pretty certain it's Pamela Green and may even be an early one of her as Rita Landre? I know it's Pam by the mole just above her bikini line and the figure and face, whatever the wig are so recognisable. I'd put it at late 1950's by Harrison Marks, but no idea if it was ever published anywhere as I'd not seen it before. Cracking shot though :)

Della Fox - Alley Pose

Another shot of Della Fox from this set of photo's, but this one appeared in Kamera No.41 (1962). I love the dramatic use of the hands, but not so much the retouching of the pubic region!

Another early model for Harrison Marks this time Audrey Crane from Kamera No.37 (1961) and credited as 'Currently appearing at the Casino de Paris, London'. She also appeared in Kamera No.38 and In Focus No.3 & No.15 and details of her time and appearances at the Casino de Paris, London and it's history can be found ... Here

Dawn Grayson - Lady In The Lake

Beautiful shot of Dawn Grayson in long negligee posing knee deep in a lake from 'Ed Alexander Photographs English Beauties' (1964). I'm not sure I'd be that happy posing in the water like that, but all for one's art!

Lorraine Burnett Amongst The Clover! (Coloured)

Now this image lent itself to be coloured and Oldiznewagain did just that, with this fantastic colour version of Lorraine Burnett. The colours go perfectly and the green tights and hat look as though they were originally that colour and I suppose they could have been!

Margaret Nolan - Fishnets, Frillies & Gloves!

Margaret Nolan in long gloves, fishnet tights and necklace and what seems to be a very dodgy wig! Either way still a good view of the Nolan boobs! This shot appeared in Adam Vol.8 No.6 (1964)

Jackie Parker - Queen Of The Hareem!

If you love big boobs from the 1960's then Jackie Parker should be close to the top of your list and one to add to your hareem of beauties. She is definitely up there on my list of well endowed girls and seen here showing them off to magnificent effect.

Time For a Break!

Time for a break! With Easter coming up I've got a few days holiday added on and will be taking a break to spend some time with the family and enjoying some time off.

I may well do the odd post, but it won't be my usually high volume of posts you would normally expect, as I'll be out in the garden or doing equally as relaxing activities. I'll see you all after the Easter break for more of the same, but in the meantime have a good Easter and I leave you with a new model that I found had posed for GHM at some point ... Julie - Kamera Calendar, February 1960

The second post of the 1960 Kamera Calendar from my own scanned copy. This time Julie gracing the February page sporting a wonderful black negligee posing on a sheepskin rug.

Candy Earle & Three Lovely Beach Balls

Not your usual post from me with this one of Candy Earle, but I do like her!. This comes from Escort Magazine (April 1968) and shows off Candy's great beach balls to good effect, although the multi-coloured one is hiding more than it's showing :)

Bedtime With Hazel

Hazel Taylor perched on the bedside looking ready for something, but not sure it's bedtime! Morning or night she would definitely get me up! Great shot publication unknown but reprinted in the 1960's Glamour Book.

Pamela The Blond Bombshell

If you'd not guessed I'm having a Pamela day and the different aliases that she posed under or hair colours she used. Here we have probably the most familiar and iconic view of Pam with her long blonde hair that she was more synonymous with later in her career. A beautiful view of her blonde locks and figure in this show on the witches coven set from 'Just Pamela Green'.

Princess Sonmar Harricks - Beauty In The Barn

Princess Sonmar Harricks (Pamela Green) posing in the hay barn from Kamera No.37 (1961) with a very strategically placed thumb! The pubic region may look retouched, but it's known she shaved to reduce the retouching, so the thumb is very well placed or GHM got the angle of the shot spot on!

Rita in Pigtails!

Possibly Pamela Green as Rita Landre, but a very early shot if it is and maybe not the normal red wig that was later associated with Rita Landre, but the look and make-up are similar for Rita. Taken from the pages of Kamera Special No.1 (1957) and a great pose and love the little bows all over the panties :)

Rochelle Lofting - That's Some Cleavage!

Rochelle Lofting showing off her very ample bosom from the pages of Kamera Special No.1 (1957). Her huge bosom is obviously exaggerated by her waist being pulled in by what looks to be an overly tight belt around her waist. Still this shot still gives me the urge to bury my head between those two magnificent mounds!

Audrey Judson - Kamera Calendar, November 1966

The November page of the Kamera Calendar 1966, but this one has me flummoxed for a while! I had real trouble working out who the model was, as she didn't look at all familiar. I've now come to the conclusion it's Audrey Judson, which would make sense with the dates when she modelled for GHM.

June Simpson - Kamera Special No.1

I've already published a copy of this cover on the 'Specials and Calendar's' page, but this is a scan from my own copy which was my latest purchase via eBay and arrived last week. Published by Harrison Marks in December 1957 the cover features June Simpson, one of the favourite 50's models.

The above image has been restored to remove several creases and the edge was well worn, but the overall condition of this magazine of over 57 years is very good. Like all Kamera editions it's a small digest size magazine featuring 98 pages of your favourite early Harrison Marks models.  These include Pamela Green, June Simpson, Marie Deveraux, Julie, June Russell, Diane Hedges, Maxine, Eva Wild and Lydia Barton to name a few.

An excellent addition to my growing Kamera collection, which now stands at 9 standard Kamera Editions, Kamera Special No.1, Kamera Backstage and the 1960 Kamera Calendar.  Plenty more to collect and keep me going :)

Jayne Tracey & The Fishnet Tights

An uncensored shot of Terry Peters by Harrison Marks taken down on the sea edge in Cornwall. One of the models that preferred to shave for her art and the location looks familiar, so either from the same time as this shot or a favourite location for Harrison Marks.
