I'm Done For Today!

That's it post wise today, as if that isn't enough, but I thought I'd give a quick update on some things that I've been doing.

• General update of the site fixing some broken links etc.
• Vintage Magazines - Updated and linked to some of the new magazine scans
• Kamera Specials - Images updated to better resolution and size and update the links, so they link to all the published pages so far.
• Models Page - Updated and checked all links work
• Unknown Models - Added those that have been identified and a few new ones that are still unknown

Vera Cover by Harrison Marks

The cover of the book simply titled 'Vera' (1962) by Harrison Marks featuring the model and actress Vera Day. A simple but stunning close-up of Vera for the cover.

June Simpson - Photographic Rhythm Cover

The always glorious June Simpson on the cover of Photographic Rhythm No.1 by Lawrence Vern. I'm not sure you'd get away with a model today sitting astride a leopard skin rug including head, but you could then.  The leopard looks in a state of shock, but so would you with June Simpson sat astride you naked, or maybe not!

Lots of restoration to this cover as it was in bad condition and had a big strip of sellotape down the spine, which you can just see, but a good effort I think!

Rita Van Ryan

Rita Van Ryan by Russell Gay (1967).  I saw this on an auction site and can't say I've come across her before or even if the photo was by Russell Gay, but a wonderful image all the same.  Nice to see the curves of an Ebony babe from the 1960's as they were far from common back then, but equally as appealing.

Anyone come across her before or seen any other images?

Kamera on Location 1966 Cover

Catching up with some of my magazine covers, so starting with the cover of 'Kamera  on Location 1966'. This one features from left to right, Teri Martine, Alicen Warden and Nicky Stevens wandering down a beach in Cornwall naked holding hands, very nice!

This is on my list to get an actual copy of or decent size scans, as are all the Kamera Specials. Anyone with copies please let me know, especially the early specials.

Marie Deveraux & The Chair!

Another shot of Marie Deveraux posing nude on just a wicker chair in pigtails. This comes from Glamorous Girls No.2 and again is possibly a reprint from an original Kamera publication. I love this set and just look at the lovely curves and round arse on her, perfect!  

These girls all had what I would class the perfect curvy figures. You didn't see a skinny girl back then very often, but then I prefer the more curvaceous figure.  I have more of this set to come!

Lisa Peterson

Not a familiar model and one that falls into my normal scope of models, but when I saw this shot I had to publish it. Lisa Peterson and her perky little breasts from 'Ed Alexander Photographs English Beauties'. Ed apparently shot Lisa for a photo set to appear in Cavalier Magazine and there is a whole article with images of her in his book. A stunning English Beauty!
