As well as posing for many photographers and appearing in numerous publications during her carer, June Palmer also starred in a number of short films. The films or ‘glamour films’ as they were known were shot on 8mm or 16mm cine film and required a cine projector to view them. Most of her early films were shot by Harrison Marks, then later by her then husband Arthur Howell.
After she retired from her official career as a model, June continued to pose for amateurs and semi amateur photographers up until the late 1980’s. She also continued to star in a few never before seen films by Arthur Howell and contacts that photographed and videoed her during visits to Strobe Studio’s and at her home in South London. June also made several fleeting appearances in feature films, but most were either very small or uncredited roles.
Below is a list of June Palmer glamour films and feature film appearances, which is by no means a complete listing! The film title will link to any films that I have published or information regarding them.
