It’s Been A While!

Sorry for the lack of activity on the site again for over the last week, but things took an unexpected turn for the worse!

After recovering from gall stones and looking to be on the road to recovery last week I started coughing and feeling unwell again. So a quick test later and yes I caught Covid! So the last 8 days I’ve been battling the symptoms of covid, and yes they are a bitch! Thankfully I didn’t need to go to hospital, but there were some really bad days! My fever broke Thursday and now I’m slowly Improving day by day.

Still need to recover but feeling positive, so please bear with me on the site as I will post again as soon as I feel able.

I know it’s been said but please stay safe out there and avoid covid, she’s a real bitch and very real! ☺

  1. Great to hear from you! I was getting worried that ‘something’ had happened and I was right to be so. Really pleased you’re on the road to recovery as I’m sure everyone else will echo.

Take it easy and get well and get strong! Very best wishes!

  5. Oh goodness, you’ve certainly been ‘in the wars’ and very sorry to hear you caught C-19. Any idea how, just out of interest – so the rest of us can avoid it… good to know you are on the mend yet again, and do try to keep yourself safe from any more issues. Hope fully you’ve not passed it on to the family?

    • Thanks and the family are all in isolation until 2nd February but all healthy so far! Good question about where I got it as only places I’ve been are home recuperating or hospital?

  6. Glad to see you back, at least on the subs bench if not yet on the field! (Saturday afternoon metaphor).
No rush is surely the main thing.

  8. So glad you are ok – You must take it easy and don’t overdo things while you recover! We both tested positive 2 weeks before Christmas – not sure how we got it as we had been very careful. I know how you felt – it knocks you sideways. We were very lucky, no need for hospital but the symptoms are horrible and it takes a good while to get back to normal.
    Look after yourself !!

  11. You can get all kinds of diseases in a hospital. These diseases are called “iatrogenic”. Do take care of yourself. We can look at other pictures of nudes in the meantime.

  12. That, on top of everything else, is not funny. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

  14. I was worried by your silence, fearing the worst, and it is so good to see that you are on an upward curve again. Covid is horrible. Friends near me have caught it, and are recovering, unevenly, but they are getting better, as you will. 2021 really will be better, and it will help to realise how many people are thinking of you. We are all on your side. Feel the love, mate, and take it easy. The site can wait.

    • Thanks Glaisdale and it was awful, but out the other side now and recovering day by day. My isolation finishes Tuesday so can’t wait to get out of the bedroom and just move about ☺

  15. I thought something might be amiss but I’m glad to hear you are on the mend. One of the few advantages of getting old is being at the head of the queue for the jab and I missed getting the second one by just a couple of days. If what they say is right I feel more confident going out when necessary but it is definitely not something to take lightly. I’m still isolating unless absolutely necessary.
Rest and recuperation for you now – and the odd peek at the lovely ladies of yesteryear when you feel like it!

  17. I had it early December and agree, it not great at all!!
Do have a speedy recovery and go at your own pace – some days may be more fatigued than others.

  18. Oh dear it never rains but it pours, so they say. Anyway it’s good to hear you are on the mend. I had the Covid jab (Astra Zeneca) last Friday (29th) and it knocked me sideways. All the best and take care.

  19. I hope you make a quick and safe recovery

  20. For the record, we had the Astra Zeneca jab on Friday (my wife and I are seventy-five) and my wife had no side-effects. I had a headache for a couple of days but it’s gone. Everybody, get the jab if you can. Not getting it is bad for the individual, and bad for everybody else. Soon the sun will rise on the landscapes of Spring, and will shine on the curves of the gorgeous women who are displayed on this site, thanks to our wonderful site manager.
