The start of what looks to be a very fine set of images of June by Stefan Glass, brother of Zoltan Glass. A set of 10 medium format black and white negatives from the John W archive. These shots all show June sat on a sofa in different poses, as well as other rooms of an unidentified house. She is nude in all of them and uncensored in some shots, so not retouched in those delicate areas! Also as with the June on Glass set these negatives were also accompanied by a set of contact prints marked up for cropping, but it is unknown if they were ever cropped for publishing?
Steven Glass was another rival to Harrison Marks and selling to the same market in the 1950/60’s to glamour magazines such as Parade, Tit Bits, Men Only, Naturalist, Nude photo books and his work was published in booklets such as Sussex Maidens.
This shot has June posing with some grapes and a few highlights to point out. That’s a dog under the sofa that appears in a later shot with June and bottom left we have three old Bakelite round pin plugs plugged into the same socket. No elf and safety in those days! Of course we have the stunning June herself in all her nude glory. Thanks to John for sharing this great new set.
