June Palmer – Worth Every Penny!

A two page advert from a photographic magazine in 1959 (title unknown) offering the delightful services of a young June Palmer. I do like a bit of memorabilia of June and there were a couple of lines that made me chuckle in this advert, ‘A Very Good Model Indeed’  is very understated and I love the old style telephone number that uses words and numbers. I also like the fee per hour of £1 10 6, which works out in today’s prices as about £85 an hour. For an hour photographing June cheap at half the price and worth every penny. I know others have photographed June at various times throughout her career including John, so I’m curious what did they pay for the privilege of shooting June?

June Palmer in Red Stocking Strip (Original)

The start of a new set of photo’s sent through by John from a 35mm film strip containing 37 various images on June in the red stockings. This is a more mature June with the fuller figure and bosom and full hairy bush on view, as she poses in the studio.  Unknown as to the place or date that these shots were taken, but looking at June I’d have an educated guess at the early 1980’s. Still a fantastic shot of an older June and even at this age (40’s) she still had it! More of the ‘Red Stocking Strip’ to come soon and thanks as always to John for a fantastic new set of June.

June & The Grapefruit Wallpaper (Coloured)

A coloured version from Oldiznewagain of June posing on the now familiar set at Scotlee studio’s with the purple chaise lounge and psychedelic wallpaper in the background. Looking through my vast archive of June images I don’t think I have the original of this shot, although I do have others that look to be from the same set.

What struck me about this shot and seeing it coloured was I realized what the wallpaper reminded me of, grapefruits or melons cut in half! Oldiznewagain has also got the colour of the purple chaise lounge spot on, but I wouldn’t have expected anything else from him 🙂

June Palmer – Sheer Delight, Part 2 (Original)

The second shot of June from the ‘Sheer Delight‘ set sent through by John.  This shot being a closer cropped shot of June sat on the chair from the first shot and wearing the sheer negligee, but giving us a closer view of June’s tits through the sheer material.
