The Sleek & Elegant June Simpson (1959)

Another wonderful shot of June Simpson posing for Harrison Marks wearing the daisy earrings from Kamera No.20 P20 (1959). A simply stunning pose with that long blonde hair and daisy earrings and probably from this set, including one of my own original colour negatives.

June Simpson – Platinum Waves (Original)

With her typical 1950’s wavy blonde hair, June Simpson was a regular feature in the early publications of Harrison Marks, appearing in Kamera No.2, 3, 8, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 34 & 35, plus appearances in some of his other lesser known publications. She also had Solo No.5 devoted to her, as well as appearing on the cover and inside pages of Kamera Special No.1, along with appearances in Kamera Special No.2, No.3 and No.5.

The above image is an early shot of June by Harrison Marks from an original negative takne in the late 1950’s, and features the familiar daisy wallpaper backdrop and leopardskin rug.

Pam & June – Highlighted Beauty (Original)

Another image of Pamela Green and June Simpson posing nude in the conservatory at Pam’s parents house in Kent. Taken in 1959 several shots of this duo appear in Kamera No.18 and 19, with the odd shot dotted throughout other publications. I think this may be a little overexposed in more than one way, but the light coming through the conservatory highlights both thier hair and bodies really well.

June Simpson – Waves & Curves (1957)

June Simpson from Kamera Special No.1 (1957) posing on yet another animal skin rug for Harrison Marks. What I like about this shot is the way June is arching her back to extenuate her curves and the round curve of her bum.  I also love the waves of her blonde hair as they fall down across her shoulders.

A Shaded June Simpson (1950’s)

The distinguishable June Simpson posing in the shadows on leopard skin rug for Lawrence Venn. This was taken from the back page of Photographic Rhythm No.1 (1950’s) by Lawrence Venn and it almost looks as though she’s mounting/riding that leopard in this shot!
