Sophia Dawn – It’s All Glamour & Tin Foil!

A coloured shot of Sophia Dawn by Russell Gay, which in itself is a wonderful shot of Sophia in pink panties, but what’s with the background! It reminds me of ‘Blue Peter’ and ‘here’s one we made earlier’ with all that tin foil!  The tin foil covered base seems to pop up with regularity as well, especially on Russell Gay shots.

Peek-a-Boo Joanna! (Original)

June as Joanna Kent getting caught taking off her dress! This is a new one to me and I’ve never seen this shot or any of the set it may belong to, but I love the pose.

A big thank you must go to Minimunster, who in the past shared her signed June collection with me for the site. She has now kindly passed on scans from her own collection of June original photo’s and negatives, so that I may share them on here. A wonderful collection or some seen before shots, but larger and better quality and some originals like above. More of this collection coming soon!

Thanks Minimunster!

June Palmer – Girl Illustrated No.6

Two images of June from Girl Illustrated Vol.1 No.6 (1966) posing with long hair in the hallway and bedroom at Ewhurst Manor.

Sheila Osborne From Kamera No.47

Another cracking unknown model this time from page 4 of Kamera No.47 (1963). What a gorgeous figure and bum, but can anyone ID her as I’ve not come across many images of her before now?

Thanks to Portland for the ID of Sheila Osborne, who also appeared in QT No.58 (1962), another unknown model identified.

June in Suburbia (Original)

I always like it when John sends me through a new June image and adds a title or some commentary, as he did with this one.  This is one of three new images of ‘June in Suburbia’ and as John points out look at the drop-leaf table, radiator pipes and old style TV! Other photo’s from this set were published in Interlude magazine (May 1963) and I’ve also seen different images in Eve Vol.1 No.7 (June 1963) and the colour centrefold of Scarlet Vol.1 No.1 (October 1962).

Now the fact from John I find bizarre! A similar negative to the one above recently sold on eBay on 2nd February 2014 for $850 US dollars!! I know John collects most things June related and I have in the past bought magazines, images and books with her images in, but $850 for one negative!  That is some hardcore June fan that paid that for one image. I’m not quite sure I’d go that far, $8.50 yes, but not hundreds (yes I’m a cheapskate!).

Anyway enjoy June in the front room wearing a short leopard skin skirt (what else would you wear in the front room!) and thanks as always to John.

Virginia Green in The Mirror (Full Version)

A stunning image of Virginia Green that I originally published here, but this is probably the original as it’s not cropped at the sides.  Much better quality and you get to see Ann Austin in the photo on the wall, signed by Harrison Marks. This image in it’s cropped version appeared on the last page of Solo no.25 P32 (1960) dedicated to Virginia.
