Taken on the bed in one of the bedrooms at Ewhurst Manor, this fabulous shot has June laying on her back naked as she looks directly at the camera. A very tempting look on her face as she bites seductively on her tongue.
Lorraine Burnett posing topless on a dinner table as she leans temptingly on a candle stick! It’s a bit early for lunch according to the clock in the background, but I’m tempted to have a nibble on something!
Fabulous lashes and make-up on Lorraine, but still a very serious look as she poses for the camera in the dining room. I think it’s the dining room of Ewhurst Manor and seen several other models such as Hazel Taylor and Sue Owen pose on the very same table. The very sexy Eve Eden (Rosa Domaille) taken by Ed Alexander. This comes from a set of 35mm negatives owned by Kevin, who has kindly sent over several images, including this one. I love this shot of Eve looking over her shoulder in a one piece black bodice looking very alluring as she does. Taken on the front lawn at Ewhurst Manor, as there are other shots of Eve where you see the driveway and front door, such as this one published over on Kevin’s blog.
Rusty Gaynor posing nude sat on a wicker chair on the front lawn of Ewhurst Manor by Harrison Marks. An odd pose, but that’s nothing new with GHM, but also an odd shape to Rusty’s boobs, but then I’m sure I’ve mentioned I think she had them done!
P is for Palmer! June Palmer of course and a perfect addition to anyone’s Xmas list. This particular shot is from a collection of excellent quality 10 by 8 prints sent over by Scott and features June with long hair and long necklace hanging down around one breast. Taken in 1965 it comes from the same set of images as these taken at Ewhurst Manor that also appeared in Dude magazine.
A superb black and white image of Dawn Grayson posing on a white wrought iron bench on the lawn at Ewhurst Manor from the original negative. Taken by Harrison Marks in the early 1960’s this shot along with several others appeared in Solo No.43 (1964) dedicated to Dawn. This particular pouting shot appeared on page 41 and the close up really shows off her smouldering pouty look as she stares directly at the camera. There are also shots of Dawn and GHM himself posing on this bench, along with Dawn posing alongside another model named as Lisa Hamilton, of which I have several of the negatives as well.
One advantage of having the original negative is you can scan in much closer to see the details, that the print in the original publication doesn’t afford you. The original medium format negative, which is 6cm by 6cm square also allows you to see much more of Ewhurst, including the lawn, gardens and front entrance than these cropped version show, but who wants to see the background when you have a nude Dawn Grayson to look at!
As it’s Halloween I thought I’d dig out an apt video from my collection with this 1963 Harrison Marks Loop featuring June Palmer in Kamera Cine Film No.33 ‘Flesh & Fantasie’. I think this was one of the first GHM/June Palmer glamour films I ever watched, although that version was online and very poor quality. Thankfully this much better version comes from John W and his June archive, who has also added some relevant music to it rather than keeping it silent.
I also remember seeing this film under a different title of Nightmare at Elm Manor, but you can see the original title at the beginning of the film. Elm Manor is of course Ewhurst Manor, which was used many times by GHM for shoots, but in this film you get to see the outside of the house, plus several rooms including a bedroom and front room with the fireplace and wooden benches either side. All of which have appeared in numerous photo’s by GHM including many of June. The film also features GHM’s pal Stuart Samuels as the villain/monster of June’s dream and he definitely had the gaunt features to play such a character! Lastly, let’s not forget the gorgeous June who looks absolutely fabulous stripped off in her long negligee as she moves around the house 🙂
