On this day in 1940 the legendary British model June Margaret Palmer was born and had she still been alive today, she would have been celebrating her 74th Birthday.
Happy Birthday to one of the most beautiful, talented, glamour and figure model’s of her time and images of her today are still as popular as ever! To celebrate June’s birthday the start of another set of photo’s from John, this time of June posing and stripping on a leather sofa. A perfect shot and perfect tribute!

A second shot from the ‘Bay Window‘ set, which has June posing with a transparent long white negligee in a bay window at Ewhurst Manor. Those were some big windows allowing June to be able to stand and pose like this in them!

Two original shots of June in a very different context than we are used to seeing her, clothed and smoking! I know smoking in the 1960’s was the accepted norm, but seeing June in photo’s actually posing with a lit cigarette seems odd. If you then add in the fact she’s dressed in a full sheepskin winter coat then these shots are very different from how we are used to seeing June!
