Gloria Lomax & The Transparent Negligee

Gloria Lomax or Donna Ambrose, whichever you prefer to call her posing next to a very ornate bottle that I’m sure I’ve seen Jackie Parker pose with as well. What was the point of the negligee other than the photographer can say she’s not nude, but she might as well be it’s so transparent! There’s even a hint of pussy showing, which for this type of shot usually found in QT by Russell Gay was quite daring. Still a wonderful shot of Gloria whatever way you look at it.

More Paula King!

Following the continued discussion over the weekend on who appears on the cover of Lenz No.3, more evidence to support the fact that it appears to be Paula King. This shot comes from page 5 of ‘Ed Alexander Photographs English Beauties’ and is one of four shots throughout the magazine of Paula.

I think we can conclusively say at this point that it is indeed Paula on the cover and it is GHM’s Roller!

Eileen Sheridan – QT No.13

Eileen Sheridan from the inside back cover of QT No.13 (1959?). 

The interesting fact about Eileen is she was the first winner of the Miss United Kingdom title in 1958. So if the timelines are correct, she did this either just before or just after winning the title, I wonder if they knew! She also won the Miss Great Britain title in 1960 and was also known for her association with the London underworld ‘firm’ headed by the Kray twins. A very colourful early career indeed!

One of several shots of Ann Walker from the pages of Karama No.1.  This set consists of Ann in a short see through negligee posing in front of a background of old newspapers stuck to the wall.  Unknown as whom took the shots, but very similar style to that of GHM.

Ann Austin Through The Bay Window!

This is the 7th shot of this set of Ann Austin in and around Ewhurst Manor I’ve found and each one is equally as good!  This time posing in one of the bay windows at Ewhurst with the roses in the foreground.  A fantastic set of which you can see all the shots so far … here.  I wonder how many more there are?

Nice Negligee Darling!

I came across the first photo over on Tumblr and thought I recognised it as young Britt Hampshire, but was unsure of the photographer until I saw the negligee and recognised that too!

Eh Up I recognise That Negligee! Jayne Tracey in The Same See-Through Negligee Outside The Cottage Front Door at Ewhurst by Harrison Marks!
I personally think Jayne Tracy fills out and looks better in the negligee!
