Sophia’s Mini Frills! (Original)

The stunning Sophia Dawn sat outside the cottage at Ewhurst on the bonnet of a Mini Cooper. So much to like about this shot the car, the location or even the model, even though she’s dressed! Saying that I love the dress and frilly petticoat and Sophia’s beehive hairstyle.

I believe the Mini was owned by the Cliffords, that rented out Ewhurst Manor to the various photographers of the time. The mini is in superb condition and the tax disc on it is dated April 1964. Only thing that could possibly make this shot better is if Sophia was naked 😉

Maria Frost – Doorway Desire (Original)

A stunning view of Maria Frost posing outside the cottage door at Ewhurst Manor in 1969, wearing nothing more than a pair of sunglasses! Taken by Harrison Marks I have very few shots of Maria from this set and the only shot I’ve seen published is a fuller shot to this published in New Kamera No.1 (1969).

Vera’s Doorstep Dance (Original)

Vera Novak posing on the doorstep of the cottage at Ewhurst Manor and a familiar location for many a Harrison Marks model during his many trips to Ewhurst. The two gas like lamps either side of the door give it a certain symmetry, although I’m not quite sure why Vera has her leg in that position?

Ann Austin – Frontal Views From Ewhurst

I found two more shots of Ann Austin, one in the very short tight looking jacket that hardly covers anything let alone her chest and another wearing not a lot!  Two great shots of Ann from this set and a great shot of the frontage of Ewhurst in the background in the first shot and the familiar cottage door in the second.

From The Orient to Ewhurst with Love!

Three shots of an unknown Oriental model from the pages of Model No.14 by Russell Gay, but she also modelled for Harrison Marks and appeared in Kamera Special No.2. These shots were taken around the grounds of Ewhurst Manor, as the first is outside the well known cottage door, the second down by the pond out the front of the property, with the final shot taken on the side patio with the trellis in the background.  I’ve no idea who the model is and I’ve only seen her appear in the two magazines mentioned, but she’s down as unknown model No.23 on the ‘Unknown Models’ page.
