Backstage in Black (1959)

The unforgettable Madeleine Mado (Maria Hale), Mary Deighan and Pamela Green posing in the dressing room from a 35mm Pamar colour slide sent over by Kevin. Although this image of the three girls was taken at the same time as the other images that appeared in Kamera backstage, this specific shot doesn’t actually appear in the publication, so maybe only ended up as a slide? I love the fact it looks like just a snapshot of them all as they undress, but I’m sure it was posed, which shows how natural all three were at posing. Pam looks great stepping out of that petticoat revealing her black underwear 🙂

Amber No.1 by Russell Gay (1950’s)

The cover of the first edition of Amber by Russell Gay, featuring a model I recognise but unable to name at present? This first edition featured classic models posing in underwear or topless such as Nancy Roberts, Erica and Rochelle Lofting and was published towards the end of the 1950’s or possibly the early 60’s. Classic stuff from Russell Gay and up there as some of my favourite early glamour publications along with QT, Model and Coral.

A new year thanks to Paul from Firebird Records who continues to supply me with copies of these vintage beauties 🙂

Rochelle Lofting – A Look of Seduction (1958)

Rochelle Lofting by Harrison Marks from Solo No.6 P11 (1958). She looks very seductive in this shot with that typical and classical 1950’s hairstyle and makeup. what’s not so classical, but equally as enthralling about the shot is the way she’s squeezing those beautiful tits between her arms highlighting those small circular areola with little hard nipples protruding from them. A seductive and delicious shot 🙂

Gaby Rougier – A Perfectly Rounded Rear! (Original)

Gaby Rougier kneeling naked on the bed by Harrison Marks and showing off that fabulous rounded rear! The bed and wallpaper are both familiar and been used many times before, but I forget sometimes if it’s on location at a bedroom in GHM’s flat or a studio set. With this I think it was a studio set, but not 100% sure. Regardless of the location what a beautiful arse Gaby had!

Lorraines Pink Pair! (Original)

A beautifully restored shot of Lorraine Burnett from a colour 35mm Pamar slide by Harrison Marks. Posing in front of those (Pink) curtains Lorraine’s bosom looks larger than normal at the angle in this shot. A very serious face as she looks at the camera as well, which I suppose is better than some of the other shots from this set where she’s trying to pout!
