Another restored colour negative of June posing on a bar we’ve seen before in this shot, wearing black underwear. Beautiful pose and what a view to come across in your local when going for a pint!
Keeping with a theme today and after the original June Palmer film, another image of her with things oiled this time! An earlier shot of June posing naked on the beach kneeling on a towel with oil all over her, taken in the 1960’s. I believe it was taken at the same period of time as this shot of her as Joanna Kent, as it looks to be the same rocks behind her, but obviously wearing a wig and a different towel 🙂
A colour shot of June Palmer from the 1960’s, which was originally part of a 3-D Steroview slide. The colours from this slide were fantastic and needed very little restoration but still look very natural, especially the skin tones of June’s body. A superb shot of June and her stunning figure in her prime as she poses leaning against a green sofa, although I’m not sure about the yellow rug? Thanks again to Kevin for sending over this shot.
It must be time for another Harrison Marks Film from the his Kamera Cine Film collection. This time it’s Kamera Cine Film No. 48 ‘Star Strip’ (1964) featuring none other than June Palmer and Stuart Samuels. The story behind this film is simple, it features June preparing backstage in very little to go on stage and perform a striptease, with Samuels thrown in for a bit of light entertainment.
This film is one of the more common films by GHM that you can find out on the internet, but what is different about this version is it’s the 16mm version of the film and not the standard 8mm version. That means the quality of the film is much better and that comes across in this digital conversion, plus it’s the full end to end film including beginning and end titles, which seem to get missed off on other versions I’ve seen out there.
A big thank you to John W, who not only sent me this copy, but took the time to get the film converted to digital and added the appropriate music to the film, as originally it was silent, not that June stripping needed any accompaniment!
You may also want to go into the settings on the video to change the quality up to 720p or 1080p to see the real quality of this version, as the default seems to set it doen at 480p!

A couple of beauties you may have seen before and I’m not talking about it being Margaret Nolan and June Palmer, although they are a perfect pair! You may have seen these prints posted on other sites or over on eBay, but these are the originals restored to their fabulous best. They are being sold by Girlymag over on eBay as individual 3½ by 5 silver gelatin prints on fiber paper, with 8 Prints of Margaret and 18 prints of June. He kindly sent me scans of them all to restore and I couldn’t wait, so decided to do this pair of shots so I could share them here. I’ve not seen either sets anywhere else before now and I particularly like the set of Margaret posing nude on the dressing table.
I will of course edit and restore the others in due course, but this pair of beauties were just too good not to share, especially being two of my favourite models as well. Thanks as always to Girlymag for allowing me to share them here 🙂
After my post yesterday about Leslie Bainbridge I thought it was about time I dug out another shot from this set. The 9th glass photographic plate of June Palmer taken by Leslie Bainbridge in the studio (12th August, 1960).
This shot has June laying against some pillows, one knee raised as she rests an arm on the knee. A beautiful view of June’s young full figure as she looks at the camera and casting a shadow behind her. Unfortunately there is a shadow on the left hand side and in other shots I wasn’t sure if that was in the studio at the time or on the glass plate itself. This shot seems to show that it was a shadow in the studio as it curves in the bottom left of the shot.
So a two for one in this shot, another Leslie Bainbridge shot and of the fabulous June Palmer, prefect! The new gallery for photos by Leslie Bainbridge should be up and running at some point today and will again be broken down by models as with Terry Sparks and Howard Roark where I have enough photos of each model 🙂
