June Palmer – The Long Haired Look! (Original)

June Palmer posing with long hair from a restored 10 by 8 print taken circa 1965. June looks absolutely stunning sat in that armchair with her top open exposing that fabulous body and perfect boobs and the location I think is probably Ewhurst Manor? The reason for the location and date is that this shot appears to be one very similar to those published in Dude Magazine (March 1965), where June has the same long hair and I know the rooms in that article are at Ewhurst. I also have 10 prints in total from this set, including several of June on the bed shown in the article and one of her with the candle in front of the fireplace. I also have a feeling that these may have been taken by Russell Gay as again I’ve seen similar shots of June in some of his publications. Plus there is a stamp on the back saying Graphic House Inc.

A simply stunning shot of June and thanks must go to Scott who contacted me via the site and sent over copies of this and his other original June prints. I had never seen these shots before, so it’s always a very nice surprise to see some new June images 🙂

Spotlight on Maria & Jean (Original)

Maria Hale and Jean Spaul (Sporle) from a scan of an original colour Pamar 35mm colour slide. It features Jean and Maria on stage and was probably taken around 1959 at the same time as the other images that appear in the publication Kamera Backstage, as both of the models featured in that magazine on stage.

Sylvia Parading About!

Sylvia Bayo or as she is named in this article Lucienne Camille from the pages of Parade Summer Special, but don’t know the year, but has to be mid 80’s. A fabulous find as I was going through some old Parade magazines to come across one of my favourite models that I didn’t even realise posed for Parade. This wasn’t the original Parade from the 1960’s, but the weekly cheap 1980’s version that I used grab from the top shelf of my local newsagent for £1 when no one else was in the shop. I used to have a thing for the model Zeta that appeared regularly 😉

June Palmer – Same Style, Different Hats! (1966)

Two shots of June Palmer on different magazine covers from the same photo shoot, but wearing different hats! The first is from Practical Photography (June 1966) and the second from the US publication Man Junior (November 1967). In both June is wearing a two piece white swimming costume and posing with a tulip in front of a 1950’s bull fighting poster, but wearing different hats.

The shoot obviously had a Spanish theme to it with the poster in the background and the two types of hats she is wearing, a Sombrero cordobés the smaller black hat and the more well known larger Sombrero. I prefer the first cover as it is just a standard photo of June, whereas the Man Junior cover looks to be lower quality giving it an almost painting feel to it.

Thanks to both John W and Paul from Firebird Records for the two different covers of June

When Danielle Met Gerry!

Two shots of Danielle Denese helping Gerry Brown get undressed taken by Terry Sparks Russell Gay. Danielle has the more classic white underwear and stockings, whereas Gerry has gone for something a little more daring and sexy with a sheer underwear set, although Danielle seems intent on seeing everything by removing Gerry’s underwear! These shots appeared in the 1960’s Glamour Book and unfortunately are the only two from this set that I have seen, but I’d love to have seen the full set and where this strip ended up?

Update: Thanks to Terry for letting us know it was him that took these fabulous shots not Russell Gay and that they taken in November 1968 at the flat of Danielle’s boyfriend. Always good to get some context around shots like these 🙂

Just Jackie!

An image of Jackie Parker from the 1950’s Glamour Book P26 by Russell Gay. The usual chequered background can be seen in this shot as well as Jackie’s magnificent tits, which should never be overlooked and nice to see her with her natural coloured hair rather than some awful blonde wig!

Brenda Graham – Housework in Hot Pants!

Brenda Graham from Sprite No.3 making a cuppa and doing a spot of housework in a very nice pair of tight white shorts and not a lot else! I’m not sure health and safety would be happy about her doing the ironing topless, but it sure looks good from here! I’ve also included the cover of the magazine as I liked it and god knows what drink the model was making, but the bottle in her hand is Cinzano and definitely the best way to dress for cocktails 🙂

Dawn’s Deliciously Perky Pair (Original)

Dawn Grayson and her deliciously perky pair from the original negative of the image that originally appeared in Kamera No.70 P12 (1966). The image published was cropped much closer than this version and you can see that version here, but I much prefer my version. Not only is the clarity as sharp as it could be, but you get to see more of Dawn, plus a few more of GHM’s prints on the wall.

The original medium format negative shows slightly more of the prints above Dawn’s head, so you can guess who the models are. The left hand one is June Palmer on the lawn at Ewhurst and the other being Pamela Green as Rita Landre on the beach. I know this is a duplication of an image of Dawn already posted, but worth a revisit as it’s from the negative itself and so much clearer, plus it’s Dawn and you can’t have enough of her!
