Pamar Colour Slide Catalogue (1957)

I’ve been after a copy of this Pamar Colour Slides catalogue for some time now and thanks to Paul from Firebird Records I now have a copy to share. Pamar Productions Ltd was formed by both Pamela Green and Harrison Marks in June, 1957 (Even before Kamera No.1 was published) with both being equal partners in a venture to provide quality 35mm slide sets of the models. This catalogue shows 81 sets produced under the Pamar title, but these shouldn’t be confused with slide sets titled ‘Harrison Marks Colour Slides’ and produced by Kamera Cine Films, of which there were 70 sets produced. Another difference between the different slide sets was that originally the Pamar sets came in a small box, whereas the later sets were sold in a flat transparent plastic wallet.

Having now looked through this catalogue I realize I have over 30 individual Pamar slides in my collection, but unfortunately no full sets! It seems that over the years these sets have been broken down and sold on individually, with many not even having the original grey cardboard holder, just the colour negative itself.

Enjoy the catalogue below and I hope it helps identify the slides and sets produced, as I know it helped me, as I now have to go back and tag the slides I’ve collected to the set name and number. All good fun!

Gerry’s Perfect Bedside Manner! (Original)

I didn’t recognise her at first with the short hair, but is this Gerry Brown looking particularly stunning posing bedside as a nurse? I have no idea why she’s posing as a nurse, but at a guess it was probably part of a Harrison Marks glamour film, but no idea which one? Thanks to Kevin for sending this image of Gerry over, if it is her and one of the better shots of her I think.

Redhead with Seriously Sexy Curves Ahead! (Updated)

A now identified redheaded model posing on the bed for Harrison Marks, and my god what a figure and what curves! Thanks to Kevin for again sharing this stunning redhead with us 🙂 Looks to be a slightly older model, not that I’m any good at getting ages right! I’ve actually now identified her as Teresa Seymour with long dyed hair!

It’s amazing what you find when looking through obscure stuff! I got sent a copy of the Pamar Colour Slides catalogue by Paul from Firebirdlondon Records and there on page 4 is slide set No.15 offering 8 magnificent slides of ‘Therese Seymoure’, with a similar shot to the one above. When you actually compare this shot to others of Teresa Seymour with shorter blonde hair it’s obviously her, but it wasn’t until I saw her name in the catalogue I made the connection.

So another model identified and thanks to Paul for all the slide catalogues he sent over 🙂

Three Backstage Beauties (Original)

Madeleine Mado (Maria Hale), Mary Deighan and Pamela Green posing in the dressing room from a 35mm Pamar colour slide sent over by Kevin. This reminds me of this image that started me on this journey back in 2013, where does the time go! Although this image of the three girls was taken at the same time as the other images that appeared in Kamera backstage, this specific shot doesn’t actually appear in the publication, so maybe only ended up as a slide?

Monika Ringwald – Fence Top Flashing & Fishnets!

I love this shot of an unknown model from the 1960’s Monika Ringwald as it’s one of those shots that has a bit of everything and pushes all the right buttons! I love the fact she is sat astride the fence in fishnets and white panties. Throw in the perfectly small white tits caused by the suntan and it’s a great shot!

Update: Originally I had no clue who this model was and found the original negative being sold on eBay.com and assumed it originated from the states. How wrong I was, as the image was taken by Terry Sparks and the model was Monika Ringwald and thanks to Terry the location was actually one he used many times before, Pegwell Bay down in Kent. Here is what Terry had to say when he saw this image – The picture you published is I think one of mine. I was commissioned by an American to do a stockings set of Monika and all the unprocessed films were given directly to him. So I have never seen the results of my efforts and I am rather curious as to how they have suddenly materialised after all these years.

Well there you go, it’s a small world! I now have several other images of Monika and those great little white tits, sent over by Terry that you can see here.

Two Stunning Forms in Color (1966)

Two fantastic female figures from the cover of Forms in Color Vol.1 No.3 (1966). Forms in Color was one of a number of continental magazines that regularly featured the work of Harrison Marks, with many of the images in it have not been retouched, unlike the UK versions.  The magazine was produced quarterly and printed in Copenhagen from the mid-sixties, published by Edition Studia and the issues were printed with both German and English text, as did many continental magazines of that time.

This edition features Tina Graham (Christine Carter) on the cover and Jayne Tracey brining up the rear on the back cover!

June Palmer – Sheer Bliss! (Original)

The second image from a strip of 35mm negatives from John of June posing on a chair in a very sheer negligee! A great view of June posing on the chair and a great facial expression as well, if you can get past the rest of the view 🙂 The images from these negatives had lots of scratches and dust on them, so they came up pretty well considering.  You can see all of the images from this set of negatives here

Penny Winters – A Colourful Form!

A second uncensored shot of Penny Winters on the set of the glamour film ‘Favourites of the Pharoes Episode 2 – The Dance’. This shot was the second shot of Penny published in Forms in Color Vol.2 No.6 P169 around 1966.
