June Palmer – Down on The Thames Embankment! (Original)

There’s nothing like a day trip out in your best coat and scarf to visit the sights of London! June looking extremely elegant as she poses down on the Thames embankment in white jacket and scarf on 11th August 1963. Sometimes the simplest of images of June are equally as good as the glamour shots and this is one such shot.

I didn’t realize, but I have two other shots of June in this outfit as well as this one 🙂

June Out & About in London (Original)

Two shots of June out and about in London from the 1960’s sent through by John from scans of original prints.  The bottom shot seems to be in Trafalgar square the Queen Victoria Memorial looking up the Mall, with Buckingham Palace behind you (Thanks Yak!), but the top shot is difficult to pin point unless anyone knows London well? Despite that two excellent shots of June dressed and out on location.

June Palmer – The Elegance of Black & White

Continuing the theme of different June Palmer shots today, we have a none nude shot or dressed shot of June found on the Internet. In this shot we see June posing in a contrasting black dress and white coat, add in the white scarf and we have a very elegant young lady in a typical shot from the 1960’s. If only those around seeing this shot were to know June was more famous for not wearing her clothes, but shush we didn’t openly talk about such things back then!

Sometimes I forget what I’ve published as this shot was obviously taken at the same time as this shot of June in front of a Triumph car in 1963 – Doh!
