I came across this unusual magazine cover featuring June Palmer over on a friends (littlebunnysunshine) Tumblr and thought I’d share it here. I’m not sure when this was published as my Japanese is a little rusty, but there’s also a reference to James Bond, so could have been in the 1960’s or 70’s or even more recent. Even so it’s a great shot of June on the cover in little pink baby doll.
Hanna’s Follies! (1970’s)
The start of a small set of Hanna Viek from the 1970’s posing on a bed in open baby doll and giving us a great view of her magnificent tits and a hint of pussy in the middle shot. I know she went on to show a lot more in typical 1970’s spread shots and some hardcore shoots, but I much prefer these earlier type of glamour shots, as they leave more to your imagination!
Rusty Gaynor – Kamera No.55 (1963)
Harrison Marks did three photo shoots with Rusty and published 37 photographs of her across Kamera No.50 (1962), No.51, No.53 and, 55 including the above front cover and eleven other pages. Shots of her also appeared in No’s 59, 63 & 74 and the large format hardback book ‘She Walks in Beauty’.
Rusty was originally a stripper from Soho and a her full story ‘Rusty Gaynor: The Vice Queen’ can be found over on the Official Pamela Green site.
June Amongst The Daisies (Original)
A great low shot of June laying on the front lawn of Ewhurst Manor among the daisies from John. I can’t tell if her slip is covering her boobs or pulled down, but she’s going to have terrible grass marks on those tits if down 🙂 The second shot from the ‘Ewhurst Escapades‘ set as June can be seen with the same earrings and long hair as the other published shot.
Note: This is an original image and subject to this copyright notice, but can be individually shared as long as the image remains unaltered and this website is acknowledged as the source.
An Older June at Home (Original)
Two more shots of an older June posing at her home with Arthur Howell in 1987 and taken by Itsgardin. The rest of these shots that I’ve published so far can be found here, but these two are great semi candid shots with the last one showing June enjoying a tipple of white wine. The glass looks empty to me, so she either downed it or it wasn’t full when the shot was taken.
Thanks to Itsgardin for these two great shots.
Jackie Parker – Just Pigtails! (1963)
I found another shot of Jackie Parker in Kamera, this time in Kamera No.55 (1963), but from the same shoot as the others that appear in Kamera No.40. A familiar background used for other shoots such as Pamela Green, but great to see Jackie showing off her great assets (and pigtails) in Kamera.
Caroline Coon – Moves Like Jagger!
A great shot of Caroline Coon from the 1970’s that appeared in Fiesta and was taken by Terry Sparks, which also had an accompanying little story from Terry about Caroline and her friend, which will make the above title a little clearer. Story from Terry below:
Also enclosed is one of my shots of Caroline Coon scanned from a page in Fiesta. I worked with her several times and I got to know her quite well and one day she brought her flatmate in to see me, an American girl called Marsha Hunt. Marsha was desperate for money and so I did a stills session with her and also an 8mm Glamour film shot at Ewhurst. She was very difficult to work with, full of her own importance and not really wanting to be photographed but needed the cash. A few weeks later she landed a part in the original London stage production of Hair and then later she met Mick Jagger and they had a child called Karis. I knew Mick Jagger vaguely as we both attended the same Grammar School, although he was a few years behind me. As far as I know, none of my pics of Marsha were ever published, I have a suspicion she may have done a deal with Russell Gay after landing her part in Hair, but I am only guessing.
I just love these little stories that come from Terry with his pictures as they give us a snapshot of things back then. Terry calls them bits of useless information, but I disagree 🙂
