This is the final shot of 4 that comes from an Esquire colour slide set of 8 slides and was set No.48 featuring two models in two settings. There were four shots of June Simpson in a garden setting, of which I’ve now published all of them and you can see the set here.
The garden although I’ve mentioned it before is actually at Ewhurst and it’s the front lawn with the drive just in view. What a fabulous view of June kneeling in that paddling pool and a very odd but appealing set. Shame there weren’t more, as I’d love to have seen this set of photo’s expanded as there is so much potential to have with that pool 😉
Back to basics with the cover of Solo No.20 (1961) featuring none other than the fabulous Pamela Green. Photographed and produced by Harrison Marks these magazines were dedicated entirely to his most popular models and Pam was without a doubt his earliest and most popular model, so much so that she appears twice in Solo, once as herself and once as her alter-ego Rita Landre.
The cover itself is a stunning shot of Pam posing on the witches coven set with her long fur cape draped open to reveal her exquisite body beneath 🙂
The superb Diane Grant taken by Harrison Marks and scanned directly from a medium format negative. I’ve also seen Diane named as Angela Grant and just recently I’ve seen a set of negatives on eBay with her named as Sonya Cordell, so god knows what her real name was! Regardless of her real name she appeared throughout the 1960’s in various publications and has a fabulous body and pussy that she showed off to full effect like this 🙂
It’s been a while since I posted a shot of Lorraine Burnett by Harrison Marks with short blonde hair on the dressing room set. So I thought I’d rectify that with this beautiful rear view shot of Lorraine, as well as showing off her fabulous tits in the reflection of the mirror. This is actually the first post from this set of an image that I actually own, so quality is much better for zooming in on Lorraine’s best bits 😉
I heard the sad news today that Marie Deveraux passed away at the end of last year (30th December 2019). Marie real name Patricia Sutcliffe was one of the first models to became a regular and very popular nude model in magazines during the late 1950’s. She had a brief career in cinema, usually as a sexy girl in comedies, dramas and horror films and appeared in several Hammer Horror films including “The Brides of Dracula” (1960) and was Elizabeth Taylor’s stand-in in Cleopatra (1963)
Marie was one of the original group of models that posed for Harrison Marks in the late 1950’s for his Kamera publication and appeared in many of the early editions including the covers of No.2, No.5, No.10 and No.14. She was also one of three models that went to the Isles of Scilly in 1959, along with Pamela Green and Lorraine Burnett and featured throughout the original ‘Kamera on Location’.
A true glamour model legend 🙁
