Beryl Gilchrist – Music of The Gods! (Original)

Another shot that I again posted back in 2014 from the published version that appeared in Femme No.11 (1968) here, but now I have the original negative.

A beautiful shot of Beryl Gilchrist in high resolution and for members in its original medium format size. The clarity between the two shots is stunning, but no difference in the two versions censorship wise, as Beryl is posing with her leg cleverly placed to hide anything that may need to be retouched! The published version was more tightly cropped on Beryl than this, but I prefer to see more of the ornate surroundings and harp in my shot. Not that we shouldn’t be focussing on Beryl’s slender naked figure, as it is rather nice to look at 🙂

Favourites of the Pharaohs Leaflet (1966)

I love finding memorabilla connected to Harrison Marks and others, be it postcards, prints, magazine articles and catalogues. In this case it’s a 4 page leaflet advertising four Kamera Cine Films under the heading Favourites of the Pharaohs, featuring 6 models, although I’ve counted more! From top left going clockwise the films and models are:

Episode 1, No.77 – The Bath, featuring Tina McGowan and Danielle Denise
Episode 2, No.78 – The Dance, featuring Danielle Denise, Penny Winters and Laya
Episode 3, No.79 – The Slave Market, featuring Hyldagarde (Hilde Beck)
Episode 4, No.80 – The Mummy, featuring Teri Martine and Tina McGowan

The special offer of an exclusive colour film of Sanda is of course Sandra Cassano and hat a fabulous colour leaflet to add to my growing collection of vintage catalogues.

A big thank you must go to Dave over at Rambooks, who scanned and sent this over along with some other great catalogue copies I’ve still to edit, but I couldn’t resist this one! If your looking for a huge catalogue of vintage magazines and other memorabilia go give them a look 🙂

Audacious Audry! (Original)

I originally posted the published version of this Audrey Crane shot here in 2014. The original retouched version appeared in Kamera No.37 P23 (1961), but I now have the original negative of the shot, so thought I’d post a much clearer and uncensored version. As you can see the clarity is much better and even shows that Audrey had a fine covering of hair down below that the retouchers attempted to remove and not very well I may add!

I do like finding the originals of shots published in Kamera such as this 🙂

Anna On All Fours! (Original)

Random Friday afternoon post in the shapely form of 1980’s porn star Anna Ventura. 

A completely natural beauty, this dark-haired, pouty-lipped, full-breasted, lush-bodied vixen from came from New York and was around for only a short time. However, as quickly as her star rose it disappeared, with Anna apparently leaving the adult-film business to marry and raise a family at the end of the 80’s. A stunning original shot of her posing on all fours on the bed showing off those exquisite curves and body that gained her such a wonderful reputation. One of several original 35mm shots of Anna from this set thanks to Kevin and his never ending archive 🙂

Brigitte Lahaie – Brunette or Blonde? (Original)

The unmistakable Brigitte Lahaie and another favourite in the B’s, either as a brunette as above or her more common look as a blonde later on in her career. This has to be one of my favourite non blonde shots of her and not even that risque compared to a lot in my collection. A very elegant look to this shot and I love how the stockings and suspender belt match with the hair at both ends 🙂

Babs Dorne (Margarette)

Margarette is described in the Harrison Marks movie synopsis of glamour film No.44, ‘Margarette’ (1963) as ‘Continental’. He did three still shoots with her and photographs from them are in Kamera No.52, No.53, No.60 & 61 and Kamera Special No.3. Margarette isn’t continental at all but actually English model Babs Dorne, who appears on this Model Index card under that name with the statistics 36-22-36 and being only 5′ 3″ tall. So overall Babs is a nice little package indeed 🙂

Bobby Shaw in Sheer Black (Original)

Bobby Shaw posing for an amatuer photographer in a studio setting wearing black panties and a sheer black negligee. I have several of these negatives of bobby on the same shoot all wearing variations on the costume, but all either sheer or see through 🙂 I prefer this shot of her in the sheer black little number as you do get to see most of her tits through it. Not sure about the tin foil background if I’m honest, but who cares!

Backstage in Black (1959)

The unforgettable Madeleine Mado (Maria Hale), Mary Deighan and Pamela Green posing in the dressing room from a 35mm Pamar colour slide sent over by Kevin. Although this image of the three girls was taken at the same time as the other images that appeared in Kamera backstage, this specific shot doesn’t actually appear in the publication, so maybe only ended up as a slide? I love the fact it looks like just a snapshot of them all as they undress, but I’m sure it was posed, which shows how natural all three were at posing. Pam looks great stepping out of that petticoat revealing her black underwear 🙂
